Anyone else watching and betting ? I been doing good at Monmouth Park today and didn't know this was on.

The real question is was anyone watching last week when Joel Rosario (Bill Parcells owned and trained by a female cancer survivor) horse went down at the wire.
Had no money on that race but wife and I rooting for that horse big time. Top of the stretch we jump up and and go crazy. Go go go ! Then at a few lengths for the wire horse goes down. Holy Chit !

Wife literally ran to the bathroom and threw up. Jockey was OK but horse had to be put down.

I was watching last week, it was brutal. I knew right away they had to put that horse down and was within a length or two of winning, so sad. I've been watching for the last month of so. My pop still lives in Saratoga county and has ownership in a few racing horses. I worked at the track six seasons back in high school and college too, so got a lot of memories

FourStarDave race next. That horse was practically a rock star back in the day.

I live (and have practically lived my whole life) a few miles from Belmont Park. I grew up at the track. Later in life I had friends that were owners/trainers/jockeys. I partied with the best of them. I did shots with Willie Shoemaker while he was wheelchair bound. My parents had a basement tenant that was Angel Cordero’s side piece. He’d show up in limo and hang with us in our backyard.
