I bought a new reel last night for my second rod and I have a chocolate/shroom bar I bought at shakedown streat when Dead & Co were in Boulder. I will be taking some edibles out as well. I caught a pike that was around 45 inches in a sit in kayak on a windless day. It was like having a pike motor. I am going to get out my whitewater backpacking kayak and run the Poudre tomorrow. I know a great spot for cutbow trout. Will pull in there and do a bit of fishing on my way down. The weather can turn to fall and winter pretty quickly here in Colorado sogetting in the mountain streams may become a bit more problematic before too long.
