Unfortunately Carolina is like most Universities these days and very, very woke. 

My oldest is a Freshman in H.S. he has no idea what he wants to do.  Luckily Wake County, NC has a tremendous Technical / Two year Community college program.  You can take all the basic college courses and/or specialize in a trade.  If he wants to be in Finance or Engineering he can transfer all those credits later.  Point being he continues his education and life skills without the current day College brainwashing.   Win-Win.

Oh Gosh yes.  Sheesh, I’m late 40’s almost feels weird saying that.  Almost.

About 15 years ago I had a business trip out to Phoenix, but we had the conference sort of in between Phoenix and Tempe. On a day off we were told to hit up this Burrito place and it took us through Arizona State University.  It was spring.  Unbelievable. The only other college that would beat UNC.
