Drop 2 in ppr

Recommended Posts

I have to drop 2 before waivers as Wilson and Monty are off IR.

I'm thinking Wilson and Moss. That would leave a bench of A. Jones, Rice, G. Davis, Hopkins, Spears and Monty.

Starters are Ekeler, Henry, Foreman, Kirk, D. Moore and Allen.

I'm open as well. I would probably let go of Davis before Rice if I kept Wilson or Moss.

Wilson is the obvious cut, as once achane is back its going to be a headache.

the second is probably Moss although Moss has done nothing but prove himself capable. He's been playable even as Taylor has taken over. Any injury to taylor and he's just as valuable if not more so than someone like spears waiting on a Henry injury.

Do you NEED to make any waiver claims? Usually if you're not making a transaction you can just leave the players where they are (at least in espn and yahoo).  Maybe you can offer some 2 for 1 trades to a RB needy team?

Thanks.  Need? Ummmm maybe... I have Stafford and the Raiders defense. I usually stream both so I was thinking Stroud and either Sea/Det/Hou defense.

If you think those need to be taken care of via waivers then you'll have to make the drops now but if you think they can wait until open free agency then you have some extra time to offer trades.

Maybe the JT owner is interested in Moss? You could package Moss and one of your starting receivers for a slight WR upgrade? Maybe Moss and Moore for someone a little more steady than Moore?

Or something similar with Spears to the Henry owner?

It's a tough one because I genuinely think Moss is more valuable than Spears. We've seen Moss lead the backfield. Havn't seen it from Spears yet. But Spears is the sexy name and will be added by someone else quickly.

Thank you. I'll consider that. It's a good idea. I don't think waivers are necessary. No one is going to pick up either of those.

I have Henry fyi ;)

Taylor owner has Kupp, Diggs, Godwin and Lockett.

thats a tough group. Diggs and Kupp are your only upgrades but they are also both viewed as top 5 fantasy receivers when healthy. I'm not sure he would even take Moss and Allen for either of them and I happen to love Keenan Allen and own him in almost all my leagues this year.

You could certainly try something more unique like Aaron Jones, Moss and Moore for Diggs and one of his worst rostered players... someone you won't mind dropping to add Stroud or another depth player.

Nice. Thanks.

Yahoo won't let me trade until I clear my roster haha.  So I could drop Wilson and G. Davis. Then offer your ideas for the trade.

i wouldn't want to see you dropping anyone you don't want to drop just to hope for a trade negotiation to work out. ... and yes,  that would be correct, you shouldnt be able to trade until the roster is cleared up.

I thought you were looking to drop bench players for Stroud and a DST, I didn't realize they were occupying IL spots.

I guess I would say focus first on which players you want to drop to clear your roster   but then I would consider trying to make a trade as it seems this great depth you have may cause you tough decisions weekly.

I don't mind the risk. That's why we play? No reward with risk? I wouldn't start Davis ahead of Rice... so what the hell?

Yeah, I only carry one qb, te and def.

I'm thinking G. Davis and Wilson to clear the roster. Thoughts?

Yeah probably

You know, Hopkins is the lowest scoring of all of them... hard to drop him though haha

This is probably a reach, but isn't there at least a chance the Colts are keeping Moss heavily involved to advertise to other teams ?

He's done incredibly well, but they've already given JT the big money. Since the trade deadline is only 6 days away, might want to hang onto him just in case.

Yeah probably

I haven't done anything other than drop Wilson. Roster is still not clear. I have a feeling they will rule Monty out again for this week (they have a bye the following week) and I can move him back to IR for this week. If that's the case, then in Yahoo, he keeps his out status during the bye week as well. That happened with A. Jones.
