Showboat 252 Posted October 27, 2023 The fact that Q is still not a significant part of the offense is cause for concern. You might want to see if there is any change this week with Palmer being a bit banged up - if not, I could see moving on. However, you'd think that the Chargers would give Q every opportunity to prove that they didn't whiff on their first round pick, but that might require patience until next year or the year after. Lake209 43 Posted October 28, 2023 Until QJ starts to show up (if he does this season), DD is definitely an upgrade. Like many other fantasy-viable new wr’s DD has seemed to improve in most weeks, gain the trust of his qb and coach, etc. He’s a decent WR 3/4/flex now, with potential for more upside. QJ seems just as or even more physically talented but his growth into that system isnt there yet. What others have said: QJ may simply need more experience; he may really start to come out next year. Fantasy managers hope the breakthrough is this season - and i guess he could hit - but there is no evidence as of yet that QJ is a worthy bench stash.
