Searching for Sugarman.  Won a few awards.  Sent the CD as presents to a few of my musical interested friends.  They had nothing but great things to say about this Doc.  About a guy who cut a few albums in the 70s & disappeared.  Some said he committed suicide on stage.  What happened is even better.

5 stars out of 5.

Yeah liked that one a lot.  He just died too I believe recently.

By the way.....consider trying the series Uncancelled History, its pretty good

P. 01 Robert E. Lee : A fascinating walk through, peering at Lee and really getting into post-war stuff too

EP. 02 Colonialism : Not bad, highlights interesting elements of global colonialism through human history and how we are changing perspective on it today

EP. 04 Abraham Lincoln : Its decent, there is a point at which in the 1960's we see revisionist history starting to pretend Lincoln was bad as leftists are keen to do....this effort at that time being spearheaded by prominent AA authors....and their sort of shock to learn they are in alignment with white supremacists is pretty funny....

I’ve been meaning to watch the Robert E Lee one. They removed his statue at Lees Circle a few years back. Saddening. Erasing history.

Maybe.   I am on the fence about it.  Should we have a statue to him, I am not sure....maybe a statue that shows him surrendering or something :dunno:

It is clear that Grant saw his surrender as meaningful, and because of it Grant gave him full "pardon" if you will, since he understood that Lee was working to heal the nation. In that regard, I guess his act of surrender is something.
