Snow slide on Berthoud Pass

The slide occured about 20 minutes after I drove through.  Lots of snow up there after the last two days.  A dozen or so cars and trucks covered but not pushed off the road.  Avalanche potential for the next 24 hours or more.  This should complicate holiday driving tomorrow on what is already, traditionally, one of the worst traffic days up in the hills.

Did that drive a half dozen times.  Definitely can be tough in the winter

That is one reason why Loveland ski area >>> the rest.

 

It is closest to Denver.
