In recent years he's either injured going into the season - elbow tendinitis, or gets hurt during the season - spinal chord bruise in '22 and sprained thumb last year. And now he's already a little sore getting pulled from practice last week due to hamstring tightness. Even in the games he played last year Stafford was just ok...15 games and 3,900 yds and 24 Tds... a far cry from his Superbowl year of 4,900 yds and 41 Tds. The end is nigh.
