Draft Strategy No Matter Where I'm picking draft tonight

Recommended Posts

Drafted the Seahawks def in both of my leagues, my last pick, I’m going to see how good BO Nix is.

I thought he looked good at Auburn. And of course won a bunch of games in Oregon.  Turns out scouts hate him.... "all dump-offs and rarely gets past first read."

What do I know. :dunno:

Gobbledog

Ravens put Ali on IR.  Should I pick up Raven's HIll or Jet's Braelon Allen?

It used to be "Snookslayer", but I lost my password.

If I knew I'd be here this long, I would've looked for that password a little harder instead of just thinking up my dog's name.

also worth noting,  everyone knows where the top Defenses rank

but if you are one of those guys who waits on a Defense until the last or second to last round, you should strongly consider chicago.

if you look at what this defense did after they acquired Sweat,  it was pretty good.  pro rated, would make them top 10.

now that Defense had the misfortune of having an offense that wasnt very good.    if you now believe that offense will be good, thats a whole lot of time on the field for the defense that will simply vanish.    so we wont see a tired defense late in games.

and the defense also lost points because their offense turned the ball over to the other team in their own end of the field.   that also hurts the numbers of the defense.

so if you think this also gives the defense a boost, we are now looking at an even higher finish.   maybe top 8 or so with still some more upside possible depending on how good the offense actually is this year.

I do hope some of you took this advice.   Chicago lit it up this week.

Puka getting hurt really put a dent in ya.  But... it ain't over. Ya still have Taylor who's bound to have some monster games and Kelce will ball-out some weeks (just not as consistently as years past). Prescott and Cooper are still solid. And Puka will be back eventually. Give 'em hell HTH !

After you win the Championship and start thinking about next year...  consider Wr-heavy. Easy peasy and stress-free. Fewer injuries / disappointments.  :ninja:
