I generally agree with you on the government.  I'd rather not legislate absolutes like we've been discussing.  But we've created a culture that celebrates transitioning, and we have 150+ for profit gender clinics in the past 15 years.  And most girls who object to things like boys in their sport probably say nothing, for fear of becoming pariahs with their classmates and on social media. 

Until we change that culture, it is the role of government to create legislation to protect people. 

For teachers, I don't think they should teach anything one way or the other, but they should let parents know if something is going on with their kids.
