I will be going to Vegas with $50,000 in cash.  

 

I will be making $1100 bets to win $1000 on 5 games

And then I will parlay the same teams on 2 team, 3 team, 4 team and 5 team parlays.

 

Let's say I pick all five teams correctly...I will win every bet and all the parlays too!

5 team parlays pay 20-1

If I win 4 out of the 5 I will still win $$$ overall

If I win 3 out of 5 I will break even

The first days of March Madness are probably the greatest days of the year to be at a sports book.  

 

There are 16 games on Thursday

There are 16 games on Friday

There are 8 games on Saturday

There are 8 games on Sunday

This sounds like a very stupid plan almost guaranteed to lose. Again.  But I’m not a gambler so I’m not sure. Perhaps those who understand gambling better than I do can chime in?
