Stupid lib DA who supports criminals sided with them and their petition to get resentenced.  That DA got tossed in the election and the new DA is trying to rescind the DA offices support of the resentencing.  We'll see how it ends.

Update:  The Brothers were resentenced and no longer face life in prison without the possibility of parole, and both had their first parole hearings this week.  Turns out, neither has been a model inmate so the parole board, with different panels for each brother, denied both of their paroles.  Both eligible to try again in 3 years.

The decision was delivered Friday after a virtual hearing involving statements from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, Lyle Menendez and supportive Menendez relatives – who are also considered victims of the brothers’ crime.
