Americans consume about 6.3 billion gallons of beer per year. Since: 1 gallon = 128 ounces, standard beer bottle = 12 ounces 1 gallon ≈ 10.67 bottles (128 ÷ 12 ≈ 10.67), So: 6.3 billion gallons × 10.67 bottles = about 67 billion bottles of beer per year. He wasn’t counting New Orleans.
