The "King Biscuit Flower Hour" was a popular weekly radio program that featured live concert recordings of popular rock bands. It debuted in 1973 and ran until 2005, with original programming ending in 1993. The show was known for showcasing major artists of the era, including Bruce Springsteen, the Rolling Stones, and Pink Floyd.

 I think it was Sunday nights here. And if I remember correctly, they would have their list of their top songs ight after Christmas before New Year’s Day. I loved it.

Yeah it was Sunday nights here in NY too. Didn’t listen every week but checked it out to see who was on regularly.

It was on the weekend (Sunday in L.A. too, I think) and was the best live radio broadcast of the 70's (which isn't saying much given the competition) The sound quality was always excellent.

Didn’t like Don Kirshners Rock Convwrt either. Mostly because of Don. Way too, well, you know. Preferred Wolfman Jacks Midnight Special.

  I worked every other Sunday at this mom and pop seafood restaurant and would always wait for sev when I was cleaning up the kitchen and finishing the red beans. WRNO 99.5 the Rock Of New Orleans.
