My old man (well, not old man as he died in ‘85 at 44) said Gooden will pitch the Mets first no hitter - probably turned over in his grave when Gooden got a no no for the Spankees.

This is my era.  I never once had an issue with the amount of home runs in the 80's.  To me, the inflated numbers today are what is so damn surprising.
