WR2 = W-Rob over Egbuka; FLEX "Bill" Coskey?

Recommended Posts

Full-point PPR league.  RB1 = Saquon; RB2 = Conner.  WR1 = Sutton (ugh - last week..).  Currently my WR2 is W-Rob, at KC.  M. Berry stated KC is 2nd-worst vs. slot WRs YTD.  I also have R. Pearsall vs. ARI (seems to only get deep targets), and TB WR Egbuka vs. the NYJ (good secondary, and TB O\L beat up).  Oh - and NE WR? Boutte vs. PIT, who actually a lot peeps like vs. the "soft tissue" PIT DEF so far this year.  (Like Sutton, only one catch last week..)

At FLEX, other eligibles are the WRs mentioned above, and: JAX RB2 Tuten vs. HOU, CLE RB2 vs. GB, or CLE TE H. Fannin @ GB.

I'd be careful putting much faith in Berry statistics (I think he even does an annual article citing stats that show the superiority of a clearly inferior player demonstrating that stats can generally be used to support whatever opinion you want).  The Jets wouldn't scare me away from Egbuka (I'd be more concerned about Sutton against the Chargers), but he is on the injury report now so that would be something to monitor.

I do like WanDale... I don't care about Boutte's 1 catch, I care about his 1 target last week. Wouldn't start him over Robinson or Egbuka.

Sounds like you have Bill set for your flex but I might flex Egbuka over him, until we see how his role shakes out with Ekeler out of the picture. And especially because this is PPR.

Tally, after 24 hours:

2 for W-Rob at WR2; 1 for Boutte; 1 for Egbuka

FLEX: 1 for Egbuka over Croskey, depending on Injury Report

I'd bench Sutton and go with W-Rob, Egbuka and Bill.

You should know early enough if Egbuka is a full go or inactive and stick in Sutton if necessary.  Obviously some risk with Egbuka even if he is active - we will find out if he is one of those players who can ball out when banged up.

Tally, after 48 hours:

2 for W-Rob at WR2; 2 for Boutte; 1 for Egbuka

Twist / New: WR1 = W-Rob instead of Sutton; WR2 = Egbuka.

FLEX: 1 for Egbuka over Croskey, depending on Injury Report; 1 for W-Rob as well

UPDATE: took a look at Rotoworld updates on players, and .. other players on their respective teams.

WR2 will be Egbuka; it was reported Saturday that he'll play.  I'll keep an eye on the Inactives, though.  FLEX = .. Pearsall.  I took another look at the J. Jennings updates, and he didn't practice all week.  SOMEONE in SF has to catch the passes, and he's the last man standing.

If Egbuka is Not Active; I'll likely go with W-Rob as my WR2.

Croskey has too many unknowns - hasn't been "the guy" (yet), AND playing with Mariota, the team's QB2.  Boutte - I saw the first Pats game, and Drake is .. "still developing."
