I used to play the friday after thanksgiving.  It was a family thing for my dads golf league, otherwise, no thanks.   Some years we caught a break in the 50's and sunny but some years were brutally cold. It's really not fun choosing between wearing so many layers you can't swing properly, or freezing your asss off

My ex-FIL talked me into playing the Saturday before Thanksgiving this year. It was 38 when we teed off and topped out at 44 degrees. Never again.

Never understood the draw of PXG.  The marketing made them out to be much more than what they are.

I think they have come down a little bit, but there was a time when you were looking at $300-$400 per club when you bought a set of irons. I will stick with my Titleist.

i just tried to post something about PXG and for some reason it won't let me

was going to say I think in the world of golf equipment where the vast majority is dominated by Taylor, Callaway, Titleist (if you include balls),   PXG did a pretty good job of acting like disruptors considering there is only so much you can actually do with clubs within the confines of the rules of golf. So yeah it was gimmicky marketing but they signed some well know PGA guys and probably positioned themselves just behind Ping and above a handful of other players like Srixon, Mizuno etc.
