Call me...Tim? 0 Posted July 29, 2003 As the repeat owners know, the draft has a 4 hour time limit. After thinking about it, I propose that this limit apply from 7 am to 10pm central. That means if the joker before you picks at 8pm central, you have until 9am central the next day before I or OB1 makes a pick for you (based in our sole discretion on what we think you need). This limit won't apply at all on the weekends; IOW, then the clock stops at 5 pm on Friday and doesn't start back up until 7 am Mon (all times central). If you think you'll be gone, send some names to someone. If you're going by the seat of your pants and don't have a list, go pull one from a FF website. There's no reason why everyone can't do this. Does anyone have a damn good reason why I should consider modifying this system? Because if not, that's the way it is. Sorry for last night guys...I was digging post holes for my deck and after fighting with the digger for 3-4 hours, I did not feel like jumping on the computer... If they pull a Vikes I think we should just skip them and they can make their pick when they get to it. No point in choosing for them. That's just MHO not like any of you draft nazis give a Rats ass. I don't think any formal voting requirements are a good idea however, the idea is to speed up the draft...not get mired down in procedural bs. Other than that, good idea. Bill Swerski 0 Posted July 29, 2003 Originally posted by Call me...Tim?:I don't think any formal voting requirements are a good idea however, Exactly, a 15 minute voting period for owners who happen to be present at the time should suffice, no?
OB1 33 Posted July 29, 2003 Originally posted by Bill Swerski: Exactly, a 15 minute voting period for owners who happen to be present at the time should suffice, no? I agree, and any voting ties will be broken by the fuhner or fuhners present.

Well...in your thread starter you mention both 7 am and 8 am. It doesn't matter to me which one it is....I just thought you had erred. So will it be 8 am on all the Mondays and 7 and the rest of the weekdays?
