Dueces Will Be Wild 15 Posted March 16, 2015 Saints coach Sean Payton gushed over rising third-year TE Josh Hill at his season-ending press conference, calling Hill "exactly what we're looking for." The starting tight end job in New Orleans is Hill's to lose following Jimmy Graham's departure. Hill led the Saints in 2014 special teams tackles and has six touchdown catches on 30 career targets. "He's exactly what we're looking for," said Payton with a wide grin, several months before the Graham trade. "Each week you know exactly what you're gonna get. He's talented, he can run, he's young. He's consistent. Those are things that allow you to win." Payton also discussed Hill's eye-opening Pro Day measurables. If your Dynasty league has open offseason waivers, stop what you're doing and pick Hill up. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/308700/payton-gushed-over-josh-hill-at-final-presser I mentioned him in the Jimmy Graham trade thread before this came out. He has potential and is definitely worth a flyer in dynasty leagues that have TE's and I think he could be worth taking a chance on in deeper redrafts as well. weepaws 2,460 Posted March 16, 2015 Will Brees is still the QB at this time right ? So I would think its a no brainier he will be worth a pick .
lesjroza 70 Posted March 16, 2015 He is as naturally talented as any TE in this rookie class, more experienced, and in a great situation. If the Saints don't draft Maxx Williams then I expect to see Josh Hill jump up to the back half of the 1st round in TE premium rookie dynasty drafts that include FAs as part of the pool by the time drafts roll in late May. He might even be a 2nd rounder in non-premium TE leagues.
DrG 94 Posted March 16, 2015 Those recent Saints games w/o Jimmy Graham might show some idea of what Hill's 'floor' is. If the Saints' O line shows itself to be improved during pre-season, good reason to be optimistic ... If not, you are buying the brand name vs. product performance. Voltaire 4,559 Posted March 18, 2015 I had never heard of him until I read this same rotoworld blurb on him the other day and my ears perked up, I'll keep my eye on him. With the 12 pick in a rookie/FA dynasty draft, this guy may well be 'best player available' when I'm on the clock but I don't need TEs.

You should have better choices at 12, especially if Winston and Mariotta go in the top 11. I love the RB/WR talent in this years draft.
Dueces Will Be Wild 15 Posted March 19, 2015 https://www.numberfire.com/nfl/news/4729/can-josh-hill-effectively-fill-the-saints-tight-end-void I'm trying to be conservative about him because Benjamin Watson is going to be playing a fair amount especially early on in the season so at best I really only think Hill is gonna get 65-75% of snaps if everything goes really well. Still it's going to be interesting to see how the season progresses.
