Go long 0 Posted August 13, 2018 This is a 12 team standard league. We can keep 3 guys from last year but all 1st round picks from the previous year go back in the draft. My keepers are: Alvin Kamara with a 12th round pick Tyreek Hill with an 8th round pick Alex Collins with a 9th round pick. I have the 1st overall pick in this snake draft. Because I am starting with Kamara and Collins, do I take Leveon Bell or David Johnson with the 1st pick or go Antonio Brown? It is a standard league so RB's go quick. Just not a fan of Bell but don't know if I can pass up his ability.
cousinal111 57 Posted August 13, 2018 Depends on how many starters you got at each position.
Go long 0 Posted August 13, 2018 1 QB, 2 RB's, 3 WR's, 1 TE, and a Kicker
cousinal111 57 Posted August 13, 2018 You got 2 RB already so I'd either 1) try to trade Collins for a high pick & grab Belle/DJ or 2) trade back a spot or two and get AB along with an extra pick. Of course I don't play standard so...
The PosterFormerlyKnownAs 61 Posted August 13, 2018 Would love to see your full roster to see if there is an option other than Collins. Kamara, Hill, and (Bell or Johnson) would be a pretty awesome core. But if you are set on keeping Collins, Brown is good too.
Go long 0 Posted August 14, 2018 The only other value I have on my roster is Tarik Cohen with an 8th round pick or I can keep Ajayi with my 7th round pick.
The PosterFormerlyKnownAs 61 Posted August 14, 2018 Go ahead and roll with Brown. That gives you two RBs and two WRs to work with. Bell or Johnson means that a keeper would go to the bench ... which is a complete waste. Unless you can trade Collins (or Ajayi) for a low value keeper WR (Landry, Tate, Agholor) in which case id Keep the WR and draft Bell. Good luck!
scottsind 61 Posted August 14, 2018 Kamara and Bell/DJ and Hill sounds like a nice start to the draft.
DaBeerz 88 Posted August 14, 2018 Bell was frustrating for owners last year as he skipped camp and started out really slow. He hit his stride late season but many owners had lost patience by then. I still value RB more, and you can never have too many RB in a standard league. DJ and Bell should go before Brown. But I assume you can only start 2 RB which means losing points on the bench unless you can manufacture a trade for some value during the season?
heel_yeah 0 Posted August 21, 2018 I think Bell and Kamara would give you an advantage at RB over everyone else. You can make up with WR's later. Collins just gives you depth...which is much needed. Spend the next few rounds addressing WR....no biggie. Here's mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=479134
polecatt 404 Posted August 21, 2018 Antonio Brown, easy You got a top notch RB in Kamara and another decent starter With Brown you got the best WR and possibly top player overall I would take Brown and not look back
