ffexpert 4 Posted September 2, 2015 Which Rookie RB are you targeting this year and why. Obviously Gordon/Gurley will be going a bit higher than some of the others - but is there a guy you think will become a starter and be the next Jeremy Hill?
Criper 24 Posted September 2, 2015 I've taken Artis-Payne late in a few drafts.
Franknbeans 46 Posted September 2, 2015 I don't know if I was targeting them but in 3 drafts I have 3 copies of Ameer 1 copy of Tevin 1 copy of TJ
Crystal Meth Tweekers 26 Posted September 2, 2015 I got Abdullah in 2 Gurley in 1 Gordon in 1 M.Jones in 3. Everyone says he looks better than Alf. He can catch and will get on the field. Who know for a guy I grabbed in rounds 11-13 who could emerge as a starter it's worth it. D.Johnson in 3. He's supposedly more talented than Frailington also. He's supposedly gonna get carries as the backup. As a late pick also who could be the bell cow I will take a chance. AZ bolstered thier line also.
Ray_T 591 Posted September 2, 2015 I got Gordon in one. wasnt really looking for him. he just kinda fell into my lap. I'm targeting Gurley in another. it remains to be seen if I'll be able to get him.

nearbyatom 1 Posted September 2, 2015 What rounds would you take them?
ffexpert 4 Posted September 2, 2015 What rounds would you take them? whenever the value was best. However, i am likely to take one late for cheap with the hope they end up providing value and being a potential great keeper option for next year.
TennisMenace 156 Posted September 2, 2015 I picked up Jones in last round. I was able to draft the Falcons runner somewhere around round 6 (14 teams).
Ray_T 591 Posted September 2, 2015 Gordon I got at the end of round 4. Gurley I cannot say. that is an auction league and we are allowed to keep 3 every year Teams get money to bid on players based on where they finished in years previous, so if 1st place gets 96$, 2nd gets $97, 3rd gets $98 etc. It is a 12 team league, and I have yet to figure out what I wanna pay for him. My current position in that league (a 2 QB league) is such, that if I get crappy RB's the season may be a waste. My current thought is that lots will try to acquire Gurley. so I'll shoot for other RB's (and Tre Mason) in the hope that he does not come up for auction early. The reason I shoot for Tre Mason, is that anyone getting Gurley should also go for Mason in case Gurley doesnt play til later in the season. (its a natural handcuff) so by taking Mason, I am hoping to figure out who really wants Gurley and with any luck, I can use that to my advantage either in bidding on Gurley or in nabbing other RB's while people are holding back waiting on the Gurley auction. My rationale, is that if I think 5 or 6 guys want Gurley, those guys will each set aside at least 30-35 bucks for Gurley and wont bid on other expensive RB's until their target has been acquired. This usually means those other targets can sometimes be acquired on the cheap. valueable info. Unfortunately, players in high demand often go early so I may not be able to make this strategy work for me.
