Mark91G 13 Posted January 15, 2018 cooks looked like a top RB before going down, now ACL injuries you are looking at him Losing 5% on his return the fact it was so early will help him be ready for next year. but the Both Murray and McKinnon have been effective as a pair catching passes picking up yards and getting the tough 3rd down and short yards. now id guess Vikes wont keep all 3 on the books as all 3 would feel they should see game time, so who goes ? id say Murray goes due to his style being similar to cook but how much do the vikes need to see of cook to feel confident in his health before letting anyone walk? I mean if they act to fast and then realise cook isn't quite ready it could cost them

Drizzay 645 Posted January 15, 2018 McKinnon is a UFA at the end of the year and Murray is signed thru 2019, not that those contracts would determine who they keep or let walk. McKinnon plays ST's so I could see them sign McKinnon and keep all 3, at least for a year and then cut Murray.
weepaws 2,460 Posted January 15, 2018 If all is good for Cook I would think L Murray would be let go, if someone needed too go.

As much as McKinnon has shown this year, I think a team will offer him more than the Vikes are willing to pay. Murray probably stays on another year as support/insurance for Cook. If Cook looks good, the Vikes may cut Murray.
