Integral 0 Posted September 15, 2006 Ok Guys, I have D Jackson, Branch, Johnson, Housh, and Bruce and Bryant at WR I have Jackson, Jordon, Dillon and M Bell at RB. With the raiders Oline, jordan is pretty much not going to do anything (at least this week) My friend wants Bryant for D Foster. I think I need a RB that is gonna get a lot of carries. With a good Oline. I also can lock D Williams up incase foster gets hurt (Just released in FA) What would you do? I seem to have some solid WR and we play 3 WR. You got Djax and Branch who are on the same team now. You might want to consider offering up Branch or DJax for a running back, like a dunn or someone of that range. I am high on Bryant and think he will have a great year. So I say no, but also consider pulling D. williams off the wire even if you don't get foster. And the guy doesnt want jackson or branch.
himmystyles 30 Posted September 15, 2006 I would make the deal.... Foster is a bit risky without DeAngelo, but since u said u can get him i would do this definitely. Bryant is good and may put up some good numbers, but I think a quality back is still more valuable. thanks for answering mine.

Sorry I assumed it was a smaller league with D. Williams on the wire. I still say you stick with Bryant, and if you think you need to upgrade your rbs, which are pretty good if you are in larger league, trade one of the players suggested, even if its not to the same guy
blackbones 0 Posted September 15, 2006 i say stick w/ bryant, great numbers last week, seems like that SF offense is a little more high powered than last year with hayes and gore in the mix as well. I just don't see Foster doing all that much this year, and you are already pretty well off with sjax and dillon. Like was mentioned, Branch and djax are both on the same team, housh is out, and not sure which johnson you have, keyshawn? andre?

SF did play Arizona last week, and Bryant had good numbers, but is he gonna do that every week? and Why does everyone think Dillon is gonna be scoring alot? I disagree 100 %. Maroney will be starting by the end of the season. Its Chad Johnson, so him and Housh are on the same team as well. theyhateme 0 Posted September 15, 2006 i definitely would do this trade. your recievers are good enough without bryant. and a top 20 rb is worth a top 25 reciever
Skeets 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I'd pull the trigger on that trade. It's a a bit risky, but I think the upside is better . You'd have to hope Foster stays healthy all season. Please see mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233322
NJDMO 5 Posted September 15, 2006 I am a fan of Foster if he can stat healthy. It is always a risk, but getting D. Williams would make it a little easier. I would make the move! please see mine, thanks: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233323
wiscsports1234 0 Posted September 15, 2006 If you can get D Williams do the trade, if not, stick with Bryant. Thanks for answering mine
Gepetto 1,368 Posted September 15, 2006 Yes, do this trade. DeShaun Foster is that running back that will get a lot of touches in a good offense and put up some really good fantasy numbers.
dd2005 0 Posted September 15, 2006 I say get Foster - and then pick up D Williams, Foster has a history of getting injured - even with DJax and Branch on the same team. Alex Smith may have had one great game against AZ, but I don't see that holding up - eventhough their schedule is nice. I like the trade for Foster - thanks for mine. kbtegp 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I do the trade. WRs are fickle. Getting a starting RB (must get williams to make this work) is better than the WR loss youre taking. Branch or Jackson can be moved in another deal - even if that is parity, you still get a different team set working for you.
throttlers 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I'd take it. You need the RB and I personally don't think Bryant will do as well as people think. Your WR's are still good without him. I'd pick up Williams whether you do the trade or not. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233397
Keyser Sose 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Trading th 4th best receiver on your team for a potential RB1 in Foster seems like a no brainer to me.
strangebrew 0 Posted September 16, 2006 i would do it in a heartbeat. foster has much more value. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233414
