Who to drop?

1. I'm thinking of grabbing Chad Pennington.

Current QBs: D. Bledsoe, D. Brees

Scoring format (redraft): 50 yards per point, 6 points per TD, -2 points per int, -0.5 per sack

Should I drop either for Chad, and if so whom?

 

2. I'm also thinking of grabbing Antonio Bryant.

Current WRs: A. Boldin, D. Branch, D. Mason, T. Glenn

Scoring format (redraft): 20 yards per point, NO ppr, 6 points per TD

Should I drop any for Antonio, and if so whom?

I'm not drinking the Pennington coolaid just yet. I think I'd hang onto the QBs you have.

 

I'd grab Bryant in a heartbeat thought. I'd drop Branch. Bryant is the surefire #1 target. Hasselbeck will spread the ball around in Seattle.

I don't think Chad is an upgrade over what you have right now.

 

Grab Bryant, I'd drop Branch too. theres a lot of weapons in Seattle, Branch will have some big games but will most likely be average at times too. Between him and Djax you never know who is going to be #1, where bryant is looked to alot in SF. I watched the SF game, (Gore owner) and most pass plays it seemed he was option 1 on them all except obvious screens.

I agree with Texansfan, not sure if Pennington is a fluke yet, it would be tough to drop one of your at this point.

 

I would also drop Branch for Bryant, he's #1 and getting the job done.

I agree. Penny is not an upgrade over either of your QB's. Bryany however IS an upgrade over Branch since he is the #1.

Definitely grab Bryant. Hard to believe he's a F/A in your league. Must be an 8 team or less league. I've been telling people to play Bryant all week on here. In every post I said "A. Smith likes to throw the deep ball to Bryant" and look what happened again today.

 

Drop Branch or trade him with someone else to upgrade a position. That will leave an extra roster spot for Bryant.

I think the others are right. Im thinking about Pennington myself. But all I have is Culpepper. With what you have I would stay put for awhile. Id also take a shot with Bryant. I would if he was available

Yeah, have to be a very small league here. I agree though. Drop Branch for Bryant, undoubtedly.
