ramblin'wreck 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I have both D Branch and D Jackson on my Roster. What should I do with them? Many "experts" recommend against carrying 2 players in the same position from the same team. I can totally understand when a team has a clear cut number 1 and 2 WRs. Do you think that rule applies here? Who is really the number 1 WR in Seattle? Leave links .. I will answer all.
J5 0 Posted September 18, 2006 I think D. Jackson is the #1 in Seattle and agree that you should probably move one of them as Seattle will still try and get Alexander his td's. I would move Branch while the hype level is high. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234485
Melvinbet 5 Posted September 18, 2006 I would want to be sure D. Jax isn't battling any injuries before giving up Branch. If you think he'll go all or most of the season then go ahead and get rid of Branch. If you have a fairly solid team, depth is nice to have. If you have a desparate need at another position, you have to off one of them. I think both have a high value right now. See mine please
Texansfan 0 Posted September 18, 2006 As long as DJax is healthy he is the #1 WR in Seattle. I think Branch will be solid though once he starts playing. Just hang onto both and see how it pans out, or if you must trade one I'd trade Branch.

I underestimated D Jackson this week (don't have him on my team but have Burleson and decided to start him thinking he'd have a nice game). I guess D Jackson is the #1 until Branch proves otherwise. I would trade Branch over Jackson. Thanks for helping with mine.
Lockheed 0 Posted September 18, 2006 If you had to get rid of one of them I would say Branch. But if you can, hold on to them until you see how everything works out once Branch gets up to speed.

I have Jackson on my team and would keep him over Branch since he is a good WR and knows the QB. I think the reason not to have 2 on the same team is so you can spread your losses if Seattle does poorly. Find out who wants Branch and get another top WR in exchange. just_want_2_win 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Move Branch while he has cachet still. Thanks for mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234300
Hoos 0 Posted September 18, 2006 A healthy Jackson is going to be the first option for MH. Either move Branch or hang onto him in case DJ has injury issues.
twofewbraincell 7 Posted September 18, 2006 Keep them both, I would start Jackson week to week...but incase he gets an injury which seems to happen quite a bid, then you have Branch to throw in. And you never know...Branch could turn out to do really well in their system.
ruptured groin 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I would keep both for now. You are virtually assured to end up with at least one stud on one of the more high-powered offenses in the league (It will get better). Two stud WR on the same team is not something I would worry too much about unless you are in a situation where you will only start one of them each week. This can be frustrating because really you can't know who is going to play well week-to-week. If you are only going to start one then I would probably move Branch as he carries the most uncertainty right now. By the way, Go Jackets! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234488

D Stallworth has the same offense in Philly as he does in NO. That is not the case with Branch. See what you can get for him but dont give him away.
mrgymrat 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I'd float some feelers out there and see if you can score a steal while Branch's market is so high. If not then hang on to him as suggested and be happy that if one of them goes down you still have the Seahawks #1 WR.

Bleed Purple 0 Posted September 19, 2006 Thanks for answering mine. If you can, I would hold both for a week or two and see what happens. D-Jax has crapped out on me twice with injuries and so if it was me, I would lean towards keeping Branch. I wouldn't worry about Branch learning the offense. He's super talented and Holgrem will speed him along. Good luck.
pook187 0 Posted September 19, 2006 If you don't get any jawdropping offers for Branch, hold onto him until you see what he can do in that offense.
quincyxg 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I'd keep DJax. Sell Branch while he is a hot commodity. Djax knows he is playing for a team next year, so he will put up numbers. Thanks for mine.
