WW Advice Needed

Recommended Posts

0-3, non-keeper league [edit]

Roster:

QBs: Bulger, Rivers[edit] (start 1)

RBs: Tiki, Jordan, Foster, Jacobs, Barber III (2)

WRs: Boldin, Colston, Keyshawn, Evans

TE: Des. Clark

K: Akers

D: Panthers

Mentionables on the WW:

QBs: Frye, Kitna

RBs: M. Robinson, Dayne, Houston, Blaylock, C Brown, C Perry

WRs: Cotchery (week 9 bye though like Boldin and Keyshawn), Jennings, Berrian, T. Williamson, Engram, Reg. Williams, C. Henry)

TEs: Daniels, Baker, Scaife

Ks: Carney

Ds: Saints

Any you would pick up and if so, you would you drop? I am 0-3 so willing to roll the dice more than if I was 3-0 or 2-1. Obviously Des. Clark may be out this week and maybe more I can't find a definitive anywhere regarding it being a high ankle sprain or not.

Your team looks pretty good considering it looks like a reasonably deep league (based on the WW).

I assume you're talking about Rivers as your 2nd QB.

I don't think there's much for you to do. You could consider dropping Rivers for Kitna as Rivers isn't going to put up decent fantasy numbers for a while and you need wins right now.

Who's Phillips? If you mean Rivers, I think it wouldn't hurt to drop him for Kitna. Although I'd maybe stick with starting bulger over Detriot this week. Maybe try to get Berrian on there, but I'm not sure who I'd get rid of, maybe Evans becuase I don't really believe in Losman.

Is Colston TE eligible in this league? I like Kitna..he will put up numbers with Martz there. Keep an eye on Jennings and Williamson...I may go wililamson over Meyshawn.

I'd try and package Tiki and a bench player for a big time RB. Barber is really good but doesnt find the endzone. There coach sais this week they want to use B. Jacobs more and more.

No, Colston isn't TE eligible. It's CBS, not Yahoo.

pick up frye and drop rivers. there are a view spot fills for him throughout the season not to mention playing denver at home on Bulger's bye week. Also I like williamson over evens. Vikings are moving the ball well and are only going to improve. Plus I think their schedule looks better.

Consider Kitna for Rivers. Rivers is a gamble to hold on to, and you don't have the roster space to go ahead and keep him for the gamble. I'd still start Bulger though so if you want to keep Rivers for another week, its not going to kill you.

The only other pickup to consider is Berrian.

Thanks for mine.

You know what?

I'd go with Berrian

He just proved himself by getting half decent numbers against a tough defense last week.

He was previously recognized as a good talent with tons of speed playing for a crappy 2nd string bears QB in a run based offense, but under a big play QB such as Grossman, I think he'll have a very good season.

I'd sit tight for now. I'm not sold on Berrian just yet. TE it looks like you're pretty much stuck so you might as well stick with Clark, he's the most upside for what you have available.

Dump Evans..Grab Jennings and start him this week. HE will prove to be a stud all year and he will prove it on Monday night against a very badly hurt Philly 2ndary.

Stay w/Bulger for now....He is due.

You may need to do something at TE as De. Clark may not play...If he;s available, grab Eric Johnson

I am not sold on Kitna yet and I am from Detroit.

HEre's mine...
