Which QB to start?

Recommended Posts

I have found myself guessing as to which QB to start the first two weeks of the season. I have two mediocre players whose matchups always seem to be similar. Let me know what you think:

Vince Young @ NO (Monday Night against a weak New Orleans defense, who gave up a considerable amount of points to Tampa Bay last week.)

or

Matt Hasselbeck vs CIN (Is he a must start after the 51 points Cincinnati gave up to Cleveland? He hasn't proved much so far, even losing a costly fumble which may have cost Seattle the game.)

I'm not sure. This may all be because I want the thrill of watching an exciting player on the big stage Monday night, but he does have a favorable matchup. But do you think Hasselbeck has an even more favorable matchup? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Make sure to leave your link and I will respond to yours. Thanks in advance!

Well neither defense is any good, but I think I would vote for Hasslebeck. Cincinati's defense looks like jr high, so you got to think there are a couple of TD passes.

thanks for mine

that's a tough call...

I'd probably lean on Hassleback. I look for New Orleans to step it up this week.

I would start Hass. He is against the Cincy D. There defense stats were a little high after week one, because they were playing Baltimore which doesn't have the best offense and two of the fumbles they recovered is because McNair and McGahee forgot how to do the exchange and had nothing to do with Cincy's D.

Help with mine, thanks

While I do think Cincy may still give up a lot of points, i do like his advice on watching Vince Monday night. That is partyl why I took him late, he is so much fun to watch. I would probably start hassle depending on league scoring, so its really up to your method of madness (i think vince will run one in) and your league...good luck, see mine, thanks in advance..

I am going to say Young. He is a nice offensive line right now and a RBBC that seems to be gaining the yards as needed. Both team IMO are somewhat weak at the receiver position. He will be playing a somewhat tougher defense, but this game has a chance to be a shootout. The TAINTS are pissed about losing two straight!
