MurOh 1 Posted October 6, 2007 I'm offering Addai/Cotchery for Randy Moss, is that too much? It's a PPR league with no madatory TE. My lineup would look like this after the trade. QB Kitna (Garrard, Griese) RB Barber, S Young, MJD, L Jordan (start 2) WR Driver, Gates, Moss (Crayton, Engram) D Dallas K Elam
Blaneyfan 0 Posted October 6, 2007 ppr I would roll with what you have. Moss is going to be solid but he won't keep putting up the numbers he is, I wouldn't think. With Jordan's health status I'm not sure I would want to go that thin at rb. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293733
redshirtrookie 0 Posted October 6, 2007 no way do you give up addai in PPR league or cotchery. theyre both PPR beasts! moss will have a monster season, but you're giving up two solid PPR players for one. i'd keep what you already have. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293761
MurOh 1 Posted October 6, 2007 So you arent worried at all about Addai's injury? I know the bye week is next week so if he sits out 2 weeks he should be back and good to go.
VaTerp 0 Posted October 6, 2007 NO WAY In a ppr league Addai is a top 5 RB. Even in non ppr he is too valuable to give up. I would be a bit concerned that he's getting dinged up but its nothing major. I would pick up Keith and stash him if you have enough roster space. Moss is a beast but you are decent at WR w/ Driver and Gates. Again, especially if its ppr. Yeah Moss is lighting it uo BUT you shouldnt expect him to keep up this record pace. He could very well end up as the #1WR at th end of the year but it all goes back to the basic law of supply and demand. RBs are more valuable b/c of this basic rule. You dont give up Addai, even for a Moss, w/o at least getting another decent RB in return. If you really need another WR I would suggest trying to move Young and/or MJD for a good WR. Or put together some other package to get a Andre Johnson, a Braylon Edwards, or somebody like that. Moss isgoing off right now but there are other WRs putting up good numbers who wont cost you as much. With Addai and Barber you have 2 potential top 10 Rbs. Throw in Jordan and you have some depth as well. The upside of MJD and Young is there but I would try to move Young while he is a hot name and get you a WR. There is no guarantee that Young gets the bulk of the carries once Henry goes down.
redshirtrookie 0 Posted October 6, 2007 no. i'm not. and if he's hurt long term, you better have handcuffed him with kenton keith. addai played hurt in the playoffs last year. yeah its the playoffs, yadda yadda yadda. he will be the back they need him to be. if they dont start him this week, it's only cause they have a bye next week and would like to rest him. i'd bet money harrison and addai are back in week 7 at full strength. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293761
MurOh 1 Posted October 6, 2007 Thanks for talking me off the ledge.
COACHG137 0 Posted October 6, 2007 DO NOT GIVE UP ADDAI .TRY ANOTHER WAY TO UPGRADE AT WR IF POSSIBLE GOOD LUCK http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=293749
CookieG 4 Posted October 6, 2007 Agreed.. Top RBs are key for a deep playoff run.. esp. when the weather becomes a factor. How can you not love Moss this year?.. even so, i'd rather hold onto Addai.
Blue Balls 0 Posted October 6, 2007 thanks for the reply. I'd keep Addai. Too valuable, plus you'd be thin at RB w/ only Barber as a solid start from week-to-week. Stick w/ what you got. Good luck.
MurOh 1 Posted October 6, 2007 Thanks again. I'm 2-2 right now but my 2 losses can be considered flukes. A team scored the record number of points in 1 week against me (12 year league). He had Westbrook, Boldin, Ronnie Brown, and Roy Williams about 2 weeks ago. My other loss happened because of the Sunday night NE/SD game. I needed 1 more catch from Gates with 10 minutes to go and NE went off on a 7 minute to drive to take all the air out of SD.
