BJW34 0 Posted September 6, 2008 I need to start 3 RBs (1 is a flex) in a 10 team PPR league. SJax Reggie Bush Earnest Graham Selvin Young Ray Rice Steve Slaton SJax is a for sure start and I like Reggie in PPR. Thanks!
montana 89 Posted September 6, 2008 hey thx for responding to mine - i like 1. sjax (no brainer as you said) 2. graham (if you look at his 1 start last yr vs NO, he had 106 yrds 1 td on the ground & 7 catches for 37 yrds - now throw in what caddy did in wk 2 vs NO = 61 yrds 2 tds on the ground & i think graham is a safe bet here to reach 100yrds & 1-2 scores - NO did nuttin this offseason to really help out their lack of a rushing D). I think the real question is for your #3. Is it Bush or Young? Bush is always a big question mark. its either feast of famine when you start him. in a non ppr, he is way overrated, but adding that 1 pt per ppr he becomes a respectable start some weeks. after looking at the matchups, this isn't one of those weeks. Bush avg'd about 11 pts in his 2 meetings vs the Bucs last yr. Not too bad really, and I see about the same from him this week (give or take 2pts. on either side). Young however, is an even bigger question mark heading into this season. There is no doubt Shanny will be playing duck-duck-goose with his RBs until 1 of them emereges & can prove that he can carry the load (w/o fumbles). If you look at last years numbers (from Denver Rbs vs Oakland), the first time they played, the Denver RBs had about 175 yrds on the ground with 1 TD & 3 catches for about 10 yrds. the second game saw them go for 80 yrds 2 TDs & 5 catches for about 30 yrds. The landscape at RB is a little different this yr (no Henry), so I gotta beleive Young will get the lions share of the carries this week. Add that Oakland pass D is pretty good & Denver is w/o Marshall - i like this match up for Young, as Oakland was/and still will be amoung the leagues worst at run d. Denver RBs avg'd about 27.5 pts per outing last year vs Oakland & the Raiders have done nuttin to improve a shitty run d. YOUNG!
rottytiny 7 Posted September 6, 2008 I'd go SJax-Graham-Young. I'm not a big fan of Bush but in a ppr he could be good. If you like Bush I'd play him over Graham but if it was my team I'd bench Bush this week to see how the rb situation plays out in NO, McAllister and Thomas should both see time I would think. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322165
CrazyStanley 0 Posted September 6, 2008 This is easy for me, Jackson, Bush and Graham. They are all starters that should do well this week. Rice, Slaton and Young are nice fillers from time to time, but ride your studs this week and every week unless there is some injury or incredible matchup. please look at mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322175
ssharpe12 0 Posted September 6, 2008 SJax, Graham, and Bush in that order. I'm not high on Bush, especially with Deuce back in the fold. GL and thanks for seeing mine
Kam187 6 Posted September 6, 2008 I need to start 3 RBs (1 is a flex) in a 10 team PPR league. SJax Reggie Bush Earnest Graham Selvin Young Ray Rice Steve Slaton SJax is a for sure start and I like Reggie in PPR. Thanks! Personally you gotta go Graham and Selvin Young. Oakland has a great pass defense but a horrible run defense. I wouldn't hesitate to use Young in prime time. I think Graham could get one or two scores against the Saints who also are not great against the run as well. Slaton and Rice are too risky with time shares. Good luck. Thanks for seeing mine
polecatt 478 Posted September 6, 2008 Obviously Jackson. I'd play Bush in a PPR. Then Graham or Young. I'd probably go with Graham. He'll get the TDs most likely.
mrgymrat 0 Posted September 6, 2008 1. SJax - never sit your studs 2. Graham - all the carries 3. Selvin - vs Raiders D 4. Bush 5. Rice - maybe higher if McGahee is out but looks like he'll play 6. Slaton - eventually will be the man in HOU
PanicAttack 13 Posted September 6, 2008 Well another poster who is probably more confused after he posted then he was before. Well SJAX is a lock. And at number 2 looks like Grahm is pretty solid. So it comes down to Bush and Young. So far the votes are even for the 2 of them. So in PPR the edge goes to Bush. The only legit argument is how bad is the Raider run D. With Marshall out Den pass game suffers so the Raiders can stack the box to hold Young down. BUSH is my vote...
zachy35 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Jackson Graham and Selvin http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322237
CptLeech 0 Posted September 6, 2008 Jax, Graham & Bush. I really believe Young is going to lose carries to Hall and Deuce and Stecker are questionable right now.

Tommy Boy 0 Posted September 7, 2008 I need to start 3 RBs (1 is a flex) in a 10 team PPR league. SJax Reggie Bush Earnest Graham Selvin Young Ray Rice Steve Slaton SJax is a for sure start and I like Reggie in PPR. Thanks! Definitely SJax. You didn't draft him in the 1st round to ride the pine. Bush is definite in a PPR league. Graham and Young are a coin flip. Both will get the lions share of carries. I'm leaning towards Graham though. Goodluck and please take a look at my question as well. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=322266
