stieve 0 Posted September 11, 2010 My team has tough matchups this week, but I still feel pretty good about my chances against my week 1 opponent. I am going with Cutler, Charles, Greene, AJ, SSmith, Shiancoe (13.6 pointsthankyouverymuch), Bironas, Dallas. This leaves me with the Flex position. My choices are among McCoy, Nicks, Portis, Burleson, Williams, Brown Conventional wisdom puts them in that order, projected FPs of about 9-8-7-6-5-4 respectively. If it makes it any easier, I have this narrowed down to McCoy or Nicks or Portis... So who would you select? Who is the safest bet for 7+ FPs? Who has the best upside? Thanks... ralphster 274 Posted September 11, 2010 McCoy for sure, unless that's Caddilac Williams in which case go with him. If not, McCoy's yer man. Thanks for the advice on my RB question
Lake209 46 Posted September 11, 2010 Another McCoy vote. What one of the last guys said about Nicks...love him...but wait-and-see for at least one week. For the record, if that is Ricky Williams and/or Ronnie Brown listed in your line-up, I'd plug either one of them in before Portis THIS WEEK. I think both will score points. Portis, a bad draw vs. Dallas...
stieve 0 Posted September 12, 2010 Williams = MIke Williams (SEA)... definitely a wait and see situation there Brown = Donald Brown, Addai's backup... waiting for Addai to get hurt on him My roster is in my signature, sorry I didn't mention. Stieve
bauman88 0 Posted September 12, 2010 I'd go Nicks, I think GB shuts mccoy down see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=369836
Beyond Chaos 75 Posted September 12, 2010 I'd go Nicks, I think GB shuts mccoy down see me http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=369836 I differ from everyone in that if McNabb plays, I'd go with Portis. I think McNabb will spread the Dallas D enough to give Portis some room and he may even catch a few out of the backfield. And if worse comes to worse you'll have a reason to watch the Sunday Night Game. Thanks for answering mine.

Maybe durability is what kept his ADP down this year. But heck, this is week 1... and he is the #1 back for the Skins. Not the best matchup maybe, but he will get the ball. I will probably decide on this late in the morning... Thanks for all the posts, I'll keep checking... Stieve
