Jwood 0 Posted July 12, 2005 wow. someone has too much time on their hands. good job, though. I will probably be starting Larry Fitzgerald/Marcus Robinson over Eric Moulds. Also, will probably start Chris Brown instead of KJ on some occasions if he doesn't have a sprained pinkie finger or an eyelash in his eye.
CA_7 0 Posted July 12, 2005 Interesting view Kilroy, thanks Except for Burleson, my starting WRs will change weekly and will play a lot matchups for Brandon Stokely, Deion Branch, Jimmy Smith and Chambers

Thin Spirit 0 Posted July 12, 2005 The Whizzinators Starters QB - Trent Green RB1 - Rudi Johnson RB2 - Kevan Barlow WR1 - Drew Bennett WR2 - Lee Evans WR3 - Keyshawn Johnson TE - Randy McMichael K - Mike Vanderjagt D/ST - New York Jets Bench QB - Eli Manning, Philip Rivers, Trent Dilfer, Kyle Orton RB - Chris Perry, Maurice Hicks, Artose Pinner, Michael Turner, Anthony Davis, Onterrio Smith WR - Reggie Williams, Rashaun Woods, Peerless Price, Devery Henderson, Fred Gibson, Jerome Mathis, JR Russell TE - Ben Troupe, Marcus Pollard K - N/A D/ST - Detroit Lions I have got a ton of young, and some unproven talent on this roster but its nicely built for the future if a few of these guys work out. The starting lineup is far better then the starting lineup of this team last year, won't be push-overs this year
Kilroy 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Kilroy's Rankings 1. The Eagle Has Landed - The defending Champ is the team to beat 2. Sapphic Kind - His starters have the potential to have huge seasons. I like their chances 3. Horsemen - Great RBs, Great QB and I think the WRs will be just fine as long as the top 3 stay healthy 4. Return of the Trojan - Excellent starting line-up, but depth is a big concern at RB and WR 5. Jwood - If Moulds and Smith play like they have in the past it's a great line-up. Even if they don't he's got nice depth on the bench at WR 6. Carolina Cartel - Could easily finish as the top team if Chambers, Burleson and Tatum Bell play to their potential. 7. Shugar's Squad - Good, solid team all around. Easily could be a playoff team 8. Fallen Hero's - Too many question marks at RB and WR at this point. If Fred Taylor gets healthy and one of the Vikings RBs emerge as a threat could be much better. 9. DBF2004 - Solid team, but I see it as a bigger threat in another year or two. Lots of good young players that should become very good in another year or two. 10. Singman - WRs look like they'll be an inconsistant bunch, but if Burress and Porter emerge this could be very solid team. 11. The Whizzantors - Headed in the right direction, but Barlow, Lee Evans and Drew Bennett could be question marks. Evans looks solid, but it might take more than his 2nd year before he breaks out. 12. Shox - Great team if a RB or two can emerge. May need some luck at that position this year though. No
Jwood 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Kilroy's Rankings 1. The Eagle Has Landed 2. Sapphic Kind 3. Horsemen 4. Return of the Trojan 5. Jwood 6. Carolina Cartel 7. Shugar's Squad 8. Fallen Hero's 9. DBF2004 10. Singman 11. The Whizzantors 12. Shox No I'll take from last to 5th.
adam smitty 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Good job, just one thing i noticed is that I am starting Engram as of now as my #3 and not Joey. Engram is better, but not by much. WR3 is deffinitely my biggest weakness, and i may give up a first rounder in next years draft to improve that position now(hint hint)
adam smitty 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Here's my early rankings and brief comments. May add more analysis later. Also noticed that there really arent any "bad" teams in this league but more that some teams just got more loaded up than others. Looks like its going to be another fun season. 1. Eagle has Landed Explosive across the board. Will be easily contending for the championship again if Jackson gets enough carries, Vick plays well and someone steps into his WR3 role. 2. Return of the Trojan Couldnt ask for a much better starting RB corp or 1-2 punch at WR but depth beyond that is very weak. 3. Carolina Cartel Good team, could be a legit contender if Bell and Burleson have big years. 4. Fallen Heroes For the most part this team is great but starting Todd Pinkston has to hurt. RB depth looks good but WRs are very questionable beyond the top 2. 5. Sapphic Kind Team is full of young studs, could be a power team if his key guys stay healthy and Hasselhoff rebounds. 6. Shugars squad No glaring weakness on this team, needs Jordan and Baber to have huge years. 7. Horsemen Insanely deep at RB and some solid sleeper candidates at wr. 8. Singman I like this team, doesnt look spectacular on paper but it will score a lot of points this year. His group of receivers will make or break his season. 9. Jwood Will more than likely get out of last place this year after making some great trades. 10. DBF Solid team, good enough to compete but not win any money this year. Love the WR depth. 11. Whizzinators Not a fan of his rbs but overall he has a lot of youth and is shaping up nicely for a future run. Some good options at wr, for the future especially. 12. Shox Looking at his starting RBs hurt. Great wrs could carry this team to some wins though.
Fubars 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Nice set-up Kilroy. This will be much easier to look at rosters for right now. By taking a quick glance, I see: 1)Eagle has Landed, 2) Return of the Trojans, and 3) Sapphic Kind as the 3 big teams. Shugar and Jwood should get some mention too. This is by no means a knock on any other teams (especially mine). This can also change through trades and injuries while preseason gets closer. I do have to say that the Whizzinators did an excellent job with a team that was going nowhere. I think our choice for the new owner was dead on.
CA_7 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Kilroy, Trojans and Saphic are definitely the top 3 because of all the reasons already given. I also like Horseman. Favre is always a good FF QB, best core of RBs and his WRs are very underrated IMO Might give full rankings when I have more time.
Kilroy 0 Posted July 26, 2005 I'll try and keep this updated with the trades throughout the season.
Shox 0 Posted August 9, 2005 12. Shox - Great team if a RB or two can emerge. May need some luck at that position this year though. Shox RB looking up. Bettis #1 guy AGAIN. Duce is done he is more fragile than Fragile Freddy. The only seasons he has played a full 16 games is seasons he was a backup. The Bus is old, but she can still carry the load at the goalline and 15 carries a game. Thomas Jones 47 yards on 10 carries and 1 TD in a quarter of work. Nice. Jones is no Priest Holmes, but he will be the surprise RB of 2005. He has the talent but he has played for the worst, and I mean worst, teams in the NFL. Cardinals...enough said. The Bears had absolutely no passing game last year. There has never been a RB....Barrry Sanders, Jim Brown, Marshall Faulk, Walter Payton etc., who could have put up any stats for the Bears last year. If my RB stay healthy beware of the SHOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #
