rurbaniak 6 Posted June 18, 2003 Ricky Watters Curtis Keaton Marquise Walker The St. Petersburg Times reports former Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Marquise Walker, who is now a member of the Arizona Cardinals, had a hard time gasping the team's offense. Walker would often receive additional work after practice. Lamar Smith

thedanzone 2 Posted June 18, 2003 I can trade Keaton for Justin McCareins. Keaton is McAllister's back-up so he has some value.

whoisjgalt 0 Posted June 18, 2003 You obviously need another QB (both bye week eights)... I'd drop Hollis - why carry two PK's? There's no reason to carry Watters, unless there's a new development I'm unaware of. Then try pawning off a couple of these guys to the teams with the starters: Smith, Bryson, Johnson, Betts. If you can't trade or can't get anything back for any of these, then I'd cut Johnson & Smith.

grandpahoo 9 Posted June 18, 2003 DO NOT CUT RICKY WATTERS! I REPEAT--DO NOT CUT RICKY WATTERS! YOU WILL LIVE TO REGRET IT! I'm thinking of carrying Watters on my CHIMI roster forever as a reminder of how dumb I am
grandpahoo 9 Posted June 18, 2003 I'm too lazy to read other people's responses, but I would hang onto Betts. Also, L. Smith is useless. I will be really, really surprised if Davenport isn't the backup this year.
thedanzone 2 Posted June 18, 2003 My initial thoughts were... Watters Ismail Pollard Johnson Watters and Isamil are finished I think. No TE's required so I chose Pollard. Leon Johnson is the FB at STL, he get 250 Yds and 2 TDs, but not much more. I'm trying to move Smith like FB suggested. Watters seems to be an overwhelming choice. What about Ismail, is there too much love for him?

So then Pollard shuld get dropped if TE's are considered WR's. At least Ismail will see the field, which is more than you can say for sure about Watters and a few others. But Ismail was another I strongly considered listing. If you can only start 2 WR's (flex rules), then you might as well have him on the list.
