Volek is missing Bennett and playing @Arizona, who has given up minimal points to quarterbacks this year (5 TD, 5INT). Are you going to start him, and if so who are you benching?

 

With Bulger out I picked up Holcomb for this week against a suspect Oakland defense... if I pick up Volek will he screw me?

Just picked him up in a 14 team league. I would start him but have PManning and J.McCown...so Im starting Pmanning even though he has been garbage all year.

I got him on draft night (last round), but finally did an add/drop with him two weeks ago for Garcia. I picked Volek up last year off the wire and he won a few games for me. I think he is a strong start. He could easily be first on the depth charts in a lot of places. Baltimore or NY Jets come to mind.

From everything I'm hearing today, I guess I have the balls to start Collins ahead of Volek. If Bennett *and* Jones were in, I may have done otherwise.

My big(ger) $ league is like that too -- no FA pickups after the start of first game of the week. No problem most weeks, but this one was an oddity.

I drafted Volek late and I'm starting him for the first time. However, my other options at QB are Plummer and A. Brooks, so I really don't consider it a big deal.
