ppierce 2 Posted October 24, 2005 team but a bad record because your opponents light it up against you? I'm 4-3 with Palmer, Priest, Rudi, Holt, S.Moss, Gonzo, Pitt, Rackers. However, everytime I play someone they blow up against me. Bad luck I guess.
Donkey_Punched 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Same here, im a little weak @ qb... Brees/Green T. Jones/P. Holmes Jimmy Smith/Chad Johnson Crumpler/LJ Smith Lindell/akers Detroit D. I just won my 2nd game 2-5... Hardest Schedule
jrokh 608 Posted October 24, 2005 I'm in a similar scenario at 4-3, two of my losses came when I had the second highest score of the week, but lost to the teams with the highest score. Hopefully the law of averages will prevail with a couple of wins when I have average weeks.
jmullen45 0 Posted October 24, 2005 I'm 2-5 and second in total points...
flushmonkii 0 Posted October 24, 2005 4-3 with Hasselbeck Portis DD or Thomas Jones (matchups) CJ S.Moss Fitz Gates matchups matchups I actually just traded for Fitz prior to this week but I use to have Glenn in that position. It's frustrating because Im only 20 points behind the overall points leader but I have a record of 4-3. Funny thing is that the points leader is 4-3 also. PlatinumBalla 0 Posted October 24, 2005 hah im the team that blows up against those...in 4 of my 5 wins...my opponent had the 2nd or 3rd most points of the week...however in my 2 losses ive lost by a combined 4 points....
Trojan35 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Lotsa luck in FF. One year I was highest total points and had a 2-12 record.
Parja 0 Posted October 24, 2005 3rd/12 in points and I'll be 2-5 after this week.
RastaBombers 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Lotsa luck in FF. One year I was highest total points and had a 2-12 record. That's a classic. Can't say I've had it that bad, but there have been years when it was like that for me, too. Suppose yer right that it's luck, but sometimes I think it's karma... titan20 0 Posted October 24, 2005 i'm 3-4 But second in points Hasselbeck, Warner ALexander, Jordan, Barlow, Bell, Anderson Johnson, Harrison, Mason, Lloyd, Colbert Crumpler, Pollard Janikowski Steelers
hasm16 0 Posted October 24, 2005 I am my league's leader in record and points. My point total is more than 100 over the next guy. But I am looking at a bleak week 10 when Palmer, Johnson, and McCardwell go on the bye. Ill have to use Delhomme, B Jones(TEN), W Ponder (return man NYG) and Randel-El (utitlity PIT). Hopefully Seattle will play Minnesota that week and Alex will get 18 touchdowns. Even this week I only had 57 points (pending Crumpler tonight) but luckily played a guy who apparently gave up early so I won. They its better to be lucky than good! OuttaLuck 0 Posted October 24, 2005 First in my league in points but about to go to 4-3 after tonight's game, assuming his tight end catches one pass. Meanwhile, a team that has scored about 100 points less for the season is going to be 6-1. Fantasy football--gotta love it!

avoiding injuries 1,576 Posted October 24, 2005 3-4 with the highest scoring team in the league.
coolice 0 Posted October 24, 2005 started 0-4 and now 3-4 with highest scored and 3 weeks in a row winning weeks. 2QB league QB Daunte, McNair, Holcome(FA), Garcia(FA) RB Edge (Trade), Jordan, M. Anderson, Moore, A. Smith (FA) WR S. Smith(Trade), S. Moss, Boldin (Trade), Galloway (FA), Bryant TE Gates (Trade) D TB K Rackers (FA)
Canoman 0 Posted October 24, 2005 I'm in this category with one of my teams. Depending on tonight, I'll be either 4-3 or 3-4. I've had bad luck. I think this is the first week that I've played someone who has a chance to beat me whose team hasn't outperformed their weekly potential. C. Palmer/M. Brunell C. Johnson/R. Moss/J. Jurevicius/A. Bryant/M. Clayton W. McGahee/C. Dillon/S. Davis/D. Foster/R. Droughns J. Witten N. Rackers San Francisco Defense (for return yards - 5 yds = 1 point & lots of return opportunity) I'm still 2nd in total points, after 7 weeks with a mediocre record. Steelers Rule 0 Posted October 24, 2005 In one of my leagues i'm 4-3 and have one of the lowest point totals i blame jamal lewis mostly, also lost walker
Guest Giants Rule 04 Posted October 24, 2005 I have the most points scored in my league, but I'm 3-4. Bledsoe, Mini-Manning Shaun Alexander, Dom Davis, Rudi Johnson, Mwelde Moore Steve Smith, Larry Fitzgerald, Terry Glenn
Dr. Octopus 0 Posted October 24, 2005 In my re-draft I am only 4-3, but I am overall point leader. On the flip side however, in my dynasty I am also 4-3 but I am last (or close) in overall points.
JScott 20 Posted October 24, 2005 I'm 2-5 and second in total points... 3-4 with second highest point total. Seems to happen to me every season. This week though I was on the other side. I had the highest point total for the week and my opponent was second highest. It completely sucks having to take a loss when the only team to outscore you happens to be your opponent for the week. It's already happened 4 times this season in my league. I've suggested to my league that for next season we still keep the head to head format BUT for each win you get a point AND for each week you score in the top half of the league you also get a point. This way it gives more credit to the teams performance and not the luck of the schedule.
Restricted 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Picking up my third win this week, third highest scoring team in a 12 teamer. Manning, McNair Portis, Westbrook, Anderson, Barlow, Parker K. Curtis, R. Smith, D. Wheels1974 0 Posted October 24, 2005 Granted, I am in an 8 team league, but still I am the 2nd highest scoring team with the following team. My record will be 4-3 after this week. UGH!!! McNabb/Favre/Hasselbeck Tomlinson/J. Jones/J. Lewis/L. Johnson/C. Brown D. Jackson/Driver/Shockey/Stallworth/Kennison/Coles Graham Bears 1 friggin' fantasy point from L.T. sure didn't help my cause this week!!!
