Any news on Cadillac yet?

Recommended Posts

will he and pittman go 50/50 this weekend? if they do, they both should have solid f pts against the 9ers, but who do you think will have a bigger fantasy day assuming their touches are 50/50?

the arch will be more of a hinderence than the ankle, I doubt he gets a real heavy workload. Gruden will likely give Pittman lots of work as well.

Tampa homer here, listen to 6 hours of local sports radio a day and can tell you Gruden seems frustrated with this injury. Very similar to how Parcell's seems frustrated with JJ... dont be suprised if this injury is more serious than we all know... seems to be some concern here locally.

I don't know if he'll be playing, but I'm about one more sprained ankle away from complaining about the injury situation for my team, and then I'll have to light myself on fire.

Very interesting interview. Said basically no real news on Cadillac, but in his opinion "they should just shut this kid down. If a month doesn't get it done, then what will. If it's for the season, it's for the season. They've got the long term to consider: :pointstosky:

Also said they've won twice without him, and he did nothing vs Detroit, etc - they can win without him

This freaking sucks. Cadillac, the Bruce, then Julius. Im done if cadillac is gone. I can move him now straight up for lamont jordan. Now is the time that breaks me or makes me. Really considering the trade now.

Rookie running back Cadillac Williams participated in practice Wednesday and showed no ill-effects to the foot injury that sidelined him the past two weeks.

Williams is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at San Francisco but Gruden said he expects him to play.

"He looked okay to me today," Bucs coach Jon Gruden said. "He's got to get back into his rhythm as a football player. He's been out for some time. We expect him to play. We'll see how he feels tomorrow. Hopefully, he feels better and can perform more and more as the week unfolds.

"I thought he did everything. But he's got to get his timing back, his rhythm back in terms of hearing the plays and getting comfortable getting in and out of the huddle with game-type tempo. We'll see how his condition is and how he feels physically in the morning."

I think I might cry...I saw my FF hopes dying a slow, painful (much like a nagging arch injury) death...

It is only Wednesday but I certainly hope to see Caddy back this week!

When John Gruden says... He looked "ok" what does that mean?

John's usually a guy to come up with bigger words like.... Amazing, Great, and Nasty.

Id be happy with a 25 carry 90 yard 1td 2catch 10 yard day (18pts)

 :D

Do we really see him getting carries.

They play SF

Portis got 20 carries and Betts got quite a few as well...

I see 15 - 15 split for this game... Not because of injury just because who they play.

As a owner of Duece Mac and DD over the last 2 seasons

High ankle sprains are bad, Duece Mac returned in 3 to 4 weeks but was never the same

DD did better than expected...Good Luck..My .02

I thought Caddie had an arch injury in his foot along with a hamstring injury. Am I wrong?

This made you feel better about Caddy? Does this sound any different than what he said before the bye week? It looks WORSE to me. He always says "He looked good, err, OK, did everything we asked of him" early in the week. Ya know what - I don't think they ask for too much on Tues/Wed. The other parts of his statement look suspicious at best to me. If he's doing so well, what's up with the "I hope he's feeling better tomorrow", stuff? I'd be willing to bet that Caddy is a no go based on what Gruden said in that quote.

Let me ask you this.

If JJ is out, and you have Caddy and Pittman, would you start them both?

i would.

im doing so in 1 league, but in another am starting larry johnson ahead of him versus the chargers, which i think will be a high scoring game.
