GobbleDog 822 Posted April 3, 2006 If oil is an acceptable answer, then so should air for the tires.
SUXBNME 1,354 Posted April 3, 2006 None of the above would be a correct interchange between lets say, a 1990 corvette and a model T.. The correct aswser is...drumroll please... The Valve stem core.. The design has not changed since the development of the pneumatic tire.. I told you it was USELESS trivia.... Next ??
Electric Mayhem 35 Posted April 3, 2006 the little screw thingy that goes over the air nozzle on the tires? the little screw thingy that goes over the air nozzle on the tires? doh! so close and a little too late...
SUXBNME 1,354 Posted April 3, 2006 the little screw thingy that goes over the air nozzle on the tires?doh! so close and a little too late... Actually, that can be exchanged with almost all the cars out there..There are a couple custom wheel companies that make different sized threads...Damn good try, though
GobbleDog 822 Posted April 3, 2006 So is the answer the stem or the cap that screws on top of the stem? I understand that some new cars have a device that reports the tire pressure to the dash, and that device is located in the valve stem. At least, I think that's right. If it's true, then the model T valve would not work properly in those types of cars and your answer is bogus. Meaning EM wins.
