St. Louis Geeks?

Recommended Posts

My sister is graduating this May and is seriously considering a job offer in the STL area. What can I tell her about the city? We're from the suburbs of Chicago. I visited there once, but it was in the STL burbs at a friends house for a big weekend-long party, so I didn't see much other than Budweiser bottles.

Tell her to go down to E. STL on Friday evening, unescorted. She's certain to have a good time!

I'd be glad to help with some info, but what do you want to know? Nightlife? Neighborhoods? Traffic? etc...

Anything other than the "city is perfect and the job is perfect" crap that the company she wants to work for is feeding her.

You do realize that Chicago is only a few hours north of St. Louis, don't you? Your sister could conceivably drive down to visit.

Or since she's busy with school in IN, maybe that's not quite possible.

Hey, you're the one who said you were in Chicago.

Last I checked, "from" and "in" aren't the same word.
