TyCobb 0 Posted May 30, 2006 Should be 3-0 right now. The Mavs have outplayed the Suns all three games. So tonight it becomes 3-1. And the Mavs win big ... mark it down!
jerryskids 5,440 Posted May 30, 2006 I'd like to argue with you, but... objectively I can't. At least based on the last game. I will say though, that the Mavs in no way owned game two. The Suns had plenty of open shots which is their game, and had they shot halfway decent, woulda/should won it. I felt really good after that game, despite the loss. Game 3 was different though... Mavs controlled the tempo, got to loose balls, did their selective fast breaks. Avery did a great job of calling timeouts when he sensed his team was trying to run and gun with the Suns. If that all continues, the Suns are dead. The Suns can NOT continue to let both Dirk and Howard kill them. They need to shut one of them down. IMO the only choice is Howard. Johnny Ringo 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Certainly not quite 'Dewey Defeats Truman', but a swing and a miss nonetheless. Kudos for being a good sport about it.

Dewey Defeats Truman was at least really close. This is more like a swing and a miss and the bat slips out of your hand, goes flying into the dugout, and hits your manager causing him to spill coffee all over himself. squidfinger 0 Posted May 31, 2006 Raja Bell makes such a huge difference. I think he's just enough energy, plus a good defender/flopper, to let them run all game long...
