New England Receivers

Recommended Posts

With Givens gone and Branch holding out, who will be Brady's #1 WR this year? (Assuming Branch doesn't sign)

Reche Caldwell

Troy Brown

Chad Jackson

Bethel Johnson

Did I miss anyone? Any NE homers out there?

Yes to all of the above. BUT, Branch will sign. I know - wasted post, but this is the only answer I can see.

BTW - you missed Watson and the 50 other TE's on the roster plus Faulk, Vrabel and the other 20 "receivers" who will have stats this year. Sorry to be an arse, but NE receivers are more maddening than Denver RB's. GOTTA LOVE BRADY THOUGH.

I didn't forget Watson...I just wanted to see which WR has a chance of stepping up INCASE Branch does not sign.

its the pats---everyone gets the ball; yet, not not enough to be a viable fantasy contributor.

among the targets are branch, brown, jackson, watson, graham, thomas, every hb/fb. basically, too many to count.

a nice spread reality attack, but a horrible fantasy attack.

Brady's arm's good and Bethel's swift  , but I'll doubt Brady will reach Bethel in New Orleans.

Branch will sign. They let Givens go to have money for Branch, who's Brady's guy. Reche and Chad will battle for #2 (the former starting the season there, the latter ending as #2, imo), and Troy will be a reliable #4.

ok..i didn't know bethel signed with NO.

I hope Branch signs but from past history, guys who hold out and miss pre-season games don't really do well during the season. I hope he signs before.

Branch and Jackson will be the starters i think.

I see Branch going for 1000 yards and 5 TD's

Jackson will be good for 700 yards and 7 scores.

Watson 550 yards and 5 scores

Graham 400 yards and 3 scores

Caldwell 350 yards and 3 scores

Brown 350 yards and 2 scores

Vrabel 8 yards and 2 scores

Thomas 100 yards and 1 score

I agree that Branch will be there and be the #1. I also believe that Caldwell will be the #2. Troy Brown will be #3 and Jackson will end up as the #4. He might move to #3 by year's end.

Watson will effectively be the #2 receiver though, but if you are strictly talking WR's, Watson doesn't matter.

Brady has been working on his arm strength in the off-season... he may be able to reach Bethel down there...

That doesn't even include 16 TD for Dillon, 8 for Maroney and 5 rushing TD for Brady himself. Patriots = top scoring team in the NFL this season at that pace!!!

If you are drafting Patriots WR's then you should find a new hobby like Bowling or something.

Why do you think people hate the Pats so much from a fantasy perspective? They SUCK for fantasy production except for Brady.

Go ahead and try taking those turds..... they had something last year like 427 different players catch at least one pass and 265 players that had at least one TD.

Patriots = Fantasy KILLERS

I targetted Chad and Reche late in a 12 team redraft recently as my 5th WR. Whoever secures the #2 WR in NE I plan on cutting the other for a backup D or K.
