onejayhawk 3 Posted July 24, 2006 I like the Chiefs and Dallas, to take one from each conference. Miami and Washington, much as I hate th... to admit it, should be considered as well. J

Boston 0 Posted July 24, 2006 One from each conference: Browns-Still a ways to go but the addition of youth and veteran experience as well as addressing the trenches has put them on the right path. Carolina-Putting the finishing touches on a good team without doing anything stupid that will hurt them long term.

Carolina-Putting the finishing touches on a good team without doing anything stupid that will hurt them long term. Agreed. I also would add the NYJets with their new men on the O-line. Gonna be watching that intently as my draft position may force me to take a late RB gamble and Curtis Martin is showing up a lot in my range.
mattb333 0 Posted July 24, 2006 (Biased pick) Giants Sam Madison (Bit old but still got talent and a huge improvement over Will Toast Allen) Lavar Arrington (Addition to a already strong LB core) RW McQuarters (got some skillz, probably a special teamer for the most part) Will Demps (off injury but when healthy a solid DB) Draft Mathias Kiwanuka (shows some promise and has top flight players showing him the ropes) Sinorice Moss (speedy and a deep threat)

Zackattack 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Dolphins with culpepper. They added more depth to thier secondary as well. let's not forget that they added two coaches to thier staff who were head coaches last year. Hands down best coaching staff in the NFL now!

I believe the Browns are 2 years away from making the playoffs, and I believe Carolina should be the favorite to win the NFC crown this year. Jake Delhomme wins MVP. You heard it here first. onejayhawk 3 Posted July 24, 2006 What a bunch of homers!!! Everyone knows the Eagles had the best offseason (Just Kidding) Actually I think Philly did well this offseason, if you take losing TO as something from the season before. Great draft. Good FA work. I can go with the Panthers as well. I am still not sold on JD, but there are worse QB's in the Atlan... the division. The defense should be up to the Bears. Eriadoc 4 Posted July 25, 2006 The Texans have added: Gary Kubiak at HC Mike Sherman as Asst. HC (O-line priority) Richard Smith as DC Troy Calhoun as OC Rick Smith as GM Antowain Smith backup HB Jameel Cook at FB Sage Rosenfels backup QB Mike Flanagan C *Charles Spencer OT *Eric Winston OT Jeb Putzier TE Bennie Joppru TE (back from injury) Eric Moulds WR *Mario Williams DE Anthony Weaver DE ND Kalu DE Sam Cowart LB *DeMeco Ryans LB *-denotes 2006 draft pick That's a lot of change - all for the good. This will be the first season where there will be true competition at most positions on the team. It's probably too much change for one season, but the team is going in the right direction for the first time since mid-2004.
