Dog Face Gremlins211 0 Posted July 24, 2006 In addition to being a few pounds lighter and a half-step faster after training in Arizona this offseason, Kevin Jones made notable improvement as a receiver with diligent pass-catching work. Jones wants to be a more well-rounded back and relegate Arlen Harris and rookie Brian Calhoun to limited roles. • Our Cardinals sources are having a hard time figuring out just what kind of role RB J.J. Arrington is going to play this season, with newcomer Edgerrin James making it pretty clear that he expects to be on the field most of the time. Suffice it to say the honeymoon is definitely over for Arrington, who will have to make the absolute most of what could be very limited playing time. • The word from Pittsburgh is the Steelers aren't worried about DE Brett Keisel stepping in for the departed Kimo von Oelhoffen. However, we're hearing there are some questions about the DE depth now that Keisel will play a bigger role http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/new...chicago%2bbears

Larry David 20 Posted July 24, 2006 I hear the Argonauts are in the market for a running back.
RicemanX 20 Posted July 24, 2006 I'm not even sure Berkeley would like him back.
t.j 35 Posted July 24, 2006 Yep. This is a case where unless Edge gets hurt, the Cardinals won't be paying much attention to Arrington. If Edge does get hurt, then they'll be in a big hurry to figure out if he JJ can help them, same as last year.
jocstrap 8 Posted July 24, 2006 We just did a 12 team - 20 rounder - He was not even drafted. I think 70+ rb's went ahead of this guy which is surprising since he is the #2 rb, or his Marcel Shipp ahead of arrington? Regardless and if James goes down he'll be like GADO and save your team! t.j 35 Posted July 24, 2006 or his Marcel Shipp ahead of arrington? Regardless FWIW, ourlads has Shipp ahead of Arrington. I agree with you that regardless . Both backs had only the slightest of value last year, so they are worthless now.
