culboarder11 0 Posted July 26, 2006 Which game do you guys think was the loudest football game ever? I would have to vote for last years NFC Championship game when the Seahawks destroyed the Panthers. Everyone knows Seattle has the loudest fans in the league and that game was especially loud because it was the game they had to win to get to the Super Bowl.... and I was there Thoughts? Boston 0 Posted July 26, 2006 As far as the NFL goes the loudest I remember was when the Skins beat the Cowboys in the NFC Championship game back in the 80's. I forget the actual year but I remember the fans absolutely rocking with a crowd that wanted Cowboy blood.

BirdBradyBobbyOrr 0 Posted July 26, 2006 FUN TOPIC!!! For the record the loudest game I've ever attended was in 1996 when the Patriots played the Steelers in the "fog bowl" . This was a playoff game and everyone was hyped up. Bledsoe hit Glenn with a deep pass which you couldn't even see from the stands because of the fog. Right away the Pats were in the red zone and I think Keith Byars, maybe Curtis Martin got the TD and the rout was on. I have a theory about noise at games. The loudest games are always the games when the hometeam is dominating in bad weather. If the home team jumps out to a fast start the fans get more emotional, excited and rabid. Not to mention, drunk, s&&thoused, s&&tfaced, cockeyed, wasted, you know what I mean plastered. Now if it's a close game you spend a lot of time analyzing watching waiting and the noise level isnt't the same. This is what happened the next week in Foxboro against he Jaquars for the AFC championship. IT was close game Brunell kept them in it and the noise level was nothing like the week befoer against Pttsburgh. That Pitt game was louder then the Super Bowl, which I attended and they lost 2 weeks later.
