Medicated 0 Posted August 29, 2006 Five worst 1. Skins 2. Giants 3. Cowboys 4. Panthers 5. Seahawks You seem to have misspelled "likely NFC Playoff teams"
mikeso 0 Posted August 29, 2006 i dont know about bottom 5 but the JETS look like they'er in for a long season.... "and with the #1 pick of the 2007 NFL draft the NY Jets select Adrian Peterson"
mulletia 0 Posted August 30, 2006 those who think the bills will suck again are in for a real surprise total bills homer but I see them going 7-9 and maybe 9-7 the schedule is pretty hard then gets really easy with games against the lions, packers, 2x against an awful jets team, the texans and tenn the d should bounce back with spikes back and triplett. nate had the worst year of his career but is playing for a contract. from the looks of the bills preseason this team could sneak up on some people but I expect a 7-9 season with marked improvement(fingers crossed) from losman
JT 137 Posted August 30, 2006 Niner fans are bit delusion this year...@ Arizona - loss --> (ARI is like the Niners with Edge, Boldin, and Fitz) vs. St. Louis - loss --> no contest vs. Philadelphia - loss --> no contest @ Kansas City - loss --> no contest vs. Oakland - loss --> OAK is a slightly better team vs. San Diego - loss --> even with Rivers...still a better team position for position BYE - tie @ Chicago - loss --> no contest vs. Minnesota - loss --> I'll give you this one...but as charity @ Detroit - win --> but San Fran has a chance to upset vs. Seattle - loss --> no contest @ St. Louis - loss --> no contest @ New Orleans - loss --> much improved team this year...more offensive weapons vs. Green Bay - loss --> if they played earlier in the year it may be a different outcome @ Seattle - loss --> no contest vs. Arizona - loss --> (they are like the Niners with Edge, Boldin, and Fitz) @ Denver - loss --> no contest I got you guys down for 1 win... With 3 upsets...you may even get to last year's record... The niners and the Jets are clearly the worst 2 teams in the NFL... (maybe add the Titans in there) The rest we will have to wait and see. Not a Niners fan, but there's no way they don't win at least 3 of these home games: GB, Az, Minn, Oak, SD, StL. The win you're giving them, at Detroit, probably doesn't happen. It's the NFL. No team is as good as their last home win, or as bad as their last road loss. Bottom 5 : Green Bay, San Fran, Tenn, Houston, Jets
roroco 75 Posted August 30, 2006 Per the almighty knowers.... The lines for winning the Superbowl by SportsBook.com 200-1 Tennessee Titans 200-1 Buffalo Bills 175-1 San Francisco 49ers 150-1 Cleveland Browns 100-1 Houston Texans 100-1 New York Jets 100-1 New Orleans Saints 80-1 Oakland Raiders 60-1 St Louis Rams 50-1 Detroit Lions I know this is bases on popularity too... but I may agree with that... football_scooter 0 Posted August 30, 2006 Worst line in history? Have you seen the Texans play? ok, point conceded. you're getting worried about that bet though I bet...lol
nobody 2,044 Posted August 30, 2006 The Jets are the only team that can challenge the Saints for worst team this year. The only way the Saints win a game this year is if another team feels sorry for them.
adam smitty 0 Posted August 30, 2006 Everyone is really misjudging Oaklan IMO. Did anyone see them manhandle the Lions? I see it like this 1. Jets 2. Browns 3. Lions 4. Packers 5. Titans If you go by that logic, then the packers should be in the top 10 for how they manhandled the Falcons. The lions are terrible, my university team could put up a good fight against them. beantownbrown 0 Posted August 30, 2006 I know it's preseason, but the Skins and Packers look like the 2 worst teams in football right now. Gibbs is going to have a heart attack this year. Browns at 6-10 did not get worse in the offseason. Winslow and Edwards are returning healthy, and people are predicting them to be worse this year? The defense will be better, they had a very solid draft and a solid offseason in free agency, even with losing Bentley. They have run the ball well against first string defenses without Bentley and without their starting RT healthy...once Tucker returns to full health they will be at least better than they were last year. Jerome Harrison looks to be a find and will be a nice change of pace and 3rd down back to spell Droughns. The division is tough, no doubt, but they are a better team than the one that went 6-10 last season. 7-9 or 8-8 is realistic. There will be more than 5 teams worse than the Browns this year. Trust me.

I read through the many lists that were posted and it looks to me like Ghost had one of the best lists, if not the best. Good work Ghost
