tzillow 0 Posted September 4, 2006 During my draft there were too many good RB's on the board to not take them. With two rounds left I realized I still needed to fill K, TE, and DEF. Who should a I drop to pick up a D?? Here's my team: QB - E. Manning, Bulger RB - S. Jackson, Portis, Gore, McAllister, M. Bell, Lundy (was able to pick him up on WW - dropped D. Williams) WR - Chambers, Owens, R. Williams, M. Jones TE - Watson K- Stover Def - ??? 1 pt for every 10 yards rushing or receiving.........no ppr. I'm thinking I need to drop Bell because of the RB headache's in Denver but he could also be huge and I would really like to have him for a trade if needed. king41 0 Posted September 4, 2006 I agree with you...drop Bell. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227892
Ted Kennedy's Car 0 Posted September 4, 2006 I would probably drop Bell, with McAllister close behind. Unless Reggie Bush gets hurt or is a complete bust, Deuce doesn't have much value to ever be a consistent starter. (Though I have Bush and Mcallister). Bell does have the possiblility of being the biggest heading slapping "D'oh!" possibility tho. If he can stay the Denver starter, he could go off for 1400 yards and 12 touchdowns this year too. I don't think Deuce would ever give you the head slapping "D'oh!" later in the year. So I guess it depends on how you value risk/reward. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227919
IndyFan 2 Posted September 4, 2006 Drop McAllister. Without Bush in town he is a huge risk because of his history of injuries and underperforming. NO will not be ahead in too many games and won't be running the ball to protect leads. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227903
CNudd 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Prolly Deuce. Like the previous posters said, bell has that potential to go off for a huge season.
bunnerjk 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Lundy-why is everone so high on this guy. Morency should be the starter anyway, if not Dayne.
darkhorse2 0 Posted September 4, 2006 I think I'd drop Lundy. Houston is going to struggle. Eventually Lundy is going to share the ball. See mine. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=227976
mccombsau 5 Posted September 4, 2006 first, how many teams are in your league? 8?, second, can you drop a wr? if not why not combine a Deuce and R. Williams as a trade for a better WR (even though your WRs look good) I would hate to see one of your opponents get Deuce or any other of those starting RB's off the WW...... mrgymrat 0 Posted September 4, 2006 I would try to package a deal with Lundy & Bell for another good wr then pickup D Williams again. T Bell has value & Lundy is the hot pick so just letting them go without trying to upgrade makes no sense. I picked up Marion Barber off the WW in my free league (autodraft) then traded him to the Julius Jones owner for Mike Bell (I had T Bell). FF is all about upgrading your team. Deal 2 players for one and pick up a Def. IMO

Start 2 WR and 2 RB. There are quite a few teams that are very thin at RB so trying to work out a trade seems to be a smart move.
adam smitty 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Drop Lundy. Of all those guys, he has the least potential and upside. edit: actually a previous poster made a great point, try and make a trade before you drop anyone.
thegreatone3 0 Posted September 4, 2006 If you can't swing a trade I would drop Lundy. Dayne looks like he is now the short-yardage/goal-line back for Houston so Lundy's upside is limited. TE Thoughts?
Captain Jack Sparrow 0 Posted September 4, 2006 tzillow ... thanks for answering mine. You did too good of a job drafting. LOL Like the guy above said, first idea I had was try to find a 2-for-1 trade out there. Find the guy who has Reggie Bush. Package Deuce and Matt Jones, for a WR better than Matt Jones. If you gotta cut one, cut Mike Bell. Just my recommendation.
Platoon 0 Posted September 4, 2006 If I had to drop one, I would drop R Williams or Duece Mc. However, if I were high on my lower guys, I would try to bundle one of my better guys such as Bulger, Matt, Gore or even a better one for the WR Studs. Check out the rosters of the other guys and look for a team with either a weakness at QB or RB and target them if they are strong at WR.
groovy gravy 0 Posted September 4, 2006 Definitely drop Lundy. Mike Bell has more upside and is on a better team with a better line. But try to go for a trade if you can, maybe a package deal to upgrade at receiver. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=228060
yjojimboo 0 Posted September 5, 2006 ima say lundy too. morency is on his heels, and with dayne there, it is like a poor man's Denver. So I would rather go with the RBBC that has experience and success doing it (see Tatum bell and Mike Anderson last year).
