DBZFan2K 0 Posted September 12, 2006 2004 It's easier to take the high road when your team is 10 games ahead of everyone else in the division with 3 weeks left in the season. Ortiz is absolutely right though, there have been MVPs that have won the award on teams that were worse than this Red Sox team. But voters will pick who they want to pick for whatever reason, it varies from year to year. As for who deserves the MVP, I don't care at this point.
