OD99 0 Posted September 14, 2006 And very poor at math. Even with his crazy $15,000,000 fee to the agent he would have $3,400,000 left...

Counterfit 0 Posted September 14, 2006 taxes on $40M would be a heck of a lot more than $15M...probably closer to $20M Not a farking chance, 50% tax rate? wern't you paying attention when your presidents over the last decade kept lowering the taxes for the rich? I'm not sure what the tax rate is but I know it's not 50%. I believe agent's standart is 10% as well so that's 4 Mil over the life of the contract.

edjr 5,568 Posted September 14, 2006 Massachusetts has a 5.25 state tax on your pay. What's Washington's, does anyone know? This is all assuming he will be paid the entire 40 million, which he won't. I'll do it anyway. After his agents fee, lets say it's 6% that's 2.4 million That leaves branch with 37,600,000 if Branch would have stayed in Mass, he'd have ended up paying about 34% in taxes.12,580,000 Leaving him with 25,020,000 over 6 years? Um yeah, I could live with that.
