Awesome......i didn't go to work today!

Sweet....i ditched work today (and havent done much there for the last 3 months anyway)......2 years ago I was by far the most productive person at this job....anyway......I got a job offer from another company (which checked my references and knows i haven't been doing jack) and they offered 40 mil baby.....

 

NOW EXCUSE ME WHILE I GO FEED DEM KEEDS.

taxes on $40M would be a heck of a lot more than $15M...probably closer to $20M

Not a farking chance, 50% tax rate? wern't you paying attention when your presidents over the last decade kept lowering the taxes for the rich? I'm not sure what the tax rate is but I know it's not 50%.

 

 

I believe agent's standart is 10% as well so that's 4 Mil over the life of the contract.

Massachusetts has a 5.25 state tax on your pay. What's Washington's, does anyone know?

 

This is all assuming he will be paid the entire 40 million, which he won't. I'll do it anyway.

 

After his agents fee, lets say it's 6% that's 2.4 million

 

That leaves branch with 37,600,000

if Branch would have stayed in Mass, he'd have ended up paying about 34% in taxes.12,580,000

 

Leaving him with 25,020,000 over 6 years? Um yeah, I could live with that.
