bobpate17 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Who to start this week? R. Brown vs. Buf Gore vs. St. louis and I have been offered Rudi for Ronnie (I give up Ronnie). should I take it?
brya31 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Ewwwww thats a tough one. I think I would go Gore??
2GQ 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I think Gore is the better play. J. Jennings will play for SF, which is good for Gore and I truly think that C-Pep will try to air it out this week because he cracked under pressure last week. Plus, the Buffalo secondary has issues and Miami will try to exploit this. Forgot about the trade......if this is a keeper league or not, I would stick with Rudi. He is consistent and fairly young. I am still not sold on Brown and he is certainly nowhere as consistent as Johnson.

joeunleaded 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I'd go R BRown vs Bills. Not sure if STL's week 1 was a fluke or not, but I'd test it out this week first... Thanks.
cheetah6 0 Posted September 16, 2006 I have the same problem. i am leaning towards Ronnie and SJAX and keeping Gore on the bench this week. Better match ups. See mine...
larrymcirish 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Who to start this week? R. Brown vs. Buf Gore vs. St. louis and I have been offered Rudi for Ronnie (I give up Ronnie). should I take it? i think you will do well either way. i happen to like ronnie best. i picked 5th & both rudi & ronnie were available. rudi had great totals last year but if you want your #1 to score consistantly each week, looking at rudi's individual game stats tells me he is far from consistant. i'm trying to remember (you can look it up) but rudi had something like 2/3 of his points in 1/3 of his games & did not have a td in half of the games. i'm expecting more consistency from ronnie so that's who i picked. i would not make the trade. huskerinct 1 Posted September 16, 2006 Ronnie Brown. NE ran all over Buff last week.
Gunslinger437 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Go with Ronnie. Gore looked good but I'm not sold on the 49ers just yet.
mdm_1971 0 Posted September 16, 2006 tough one but if youre league gives points per reception then gore is the start. He will get at least 3-4 receptions a week and that should give him the edge over Brown. I am putting gore in and Brown on the bench and Gore i got in the 6th round! Good luck either way! Kris-styles 0 Posted September 16, 2006 This is crazy. R. BROWN I understand the rams gave up a lot of yards but so did the Bills. Too much Gore hype, lets see once the 49 ers play a stronger D (granted not the Rams). This wouldn't have been a question until last week. One perf. isn't enough for me especially against the Cards. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=233667
NJ_Shoney 0 Posted September 16, 2006 Definitely Ronnie Brown. And I'd keep him rather than trade for Rudi.
rush77 0 Posted September 16, 2006 That's a tough one. I have the same issue in one of my leauges. I have to go Brown just because the Bill's rush defense is horrible. Please see mine.http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...=233663&hl=
tmoney1224 0 Posted September 16, 2006 You gotta start Brown, no doubt. Gore ran all over a very weak D. Not saying it was a fluke, I own him in a couple leagues, but you gotta start your stud against the weak bill run D. Mine

Brown will get the job done vs. Buffalo this week.

I would hold off on that trade. I see Brown having better numbers at the end of the year.
