J5 0 Posted September 21, 2006 12 team non-PPR league My team: McNabb/Warner LJ/Droughns/Addai/Rhodes/C. Benson Holt/Chambers/Housh/Mason/D. Jackson/Henry Should I trade Droughns and Mason for Harrison? I may also be able to get Fitz. Am I giving up on Droughns to early? I have depth at wr but not much to get at rb. I may be able to swing a Chambers for McGahee deal. This leaves me incredibly thin at rb but I can go 4 wide in my league and I could also look to move 1 of these guys for a rb in a few weeks. I would make the deal, Addai has outproduced Droughns so far. Plus, Droughns still has to face Pitt twice, Balt twice, SD, Atl, Den, and Car. Not looking good for the home team. J5 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Should I try fr Harrison or Fitz? My concern with Fitz is if Warner goes down, can Leinary keep it going? What do you think?
Bearshopeful 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Ya I like that deal, Pick up Harrison if you can, and look at the WW to see what other RB you can pick up in Colts BYE or make another trade when the time comes. See if you can make a trade for Rhodes or Benson. I doubt either will have much stock at the end of the season. Addai is quickly developing and TJ is the real back in CHI, don't be fooled by all the benson hype. Playing in a 4 WR league that trade will stack you. Let me know your thoughts: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=235530
Barry's Juice 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Your stacked at WR. Id do the deal & get even more stacked. I dont have any love for Droughns & like Germ said Addai has outproduced anyhow. Plus this gives you even bigger possibilities to trade for a bigger fish in a couple of weeks if not panning out as hoped. I wonder if Benson is gonna start to get any love at all...... awefully expensive
throttlers 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I'd actually go completely the other way. You are trading away Droughns while his stock is down and weakening your already thin RB position. Trade from depth for quality. I'd be looking to trade a WR or 2 for a RB. Or maybe package Addai while he is hot with a WR for a better RB. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=235524

You need to upgrade at RB before you try for WR in my opinion, that is where the points come from mostly, not WR. help with mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=235552
gold_finger 0 Posted September 21, 2006 If you start 4 wide, you could go for Harrison but like others have said, you're pretty thin at RB and I'm not sure of Addai is a good #2 at this point.

This trade would actually make your team more unbalanced. What you need right now is RB depth. Wait until one of your WR's has a monster game (and they will), then try to deal him away for a feature RB somewhere. A good target would be a RB whose stock is down right now, like Kevin Jones. Thanks for answering mine.
J5 0 Posted September 21, 2006 I appreciate all the replies on this and understand people's points regarding my rb's. I guess I look at it as adding more talent. I strengthen an already strong wr core and add another valuable trade chip to get a rb. I don't really have alot of confidence in Droughns right now. Am I missing something with him? yomamahates 0 Posted September 21, 2006 Easiest equation ever.... Droughns = Overrated Especially when the QB has more rushing TD's!!
