Need help with trade.

My team is in my sign. A friend in my team really needs a depth. I offered TO, Shockey and Jones-drew for SS/ M. Barber. I am starting colston as TE always so shockey is useless to me after this week. I have gore as my back up so I can loose drew-jones. Is this fair trade??? Drew-jones has good potential and TO/Shockey is top tire WR/TE. Am I taking too much from him or is this fair trade? he is a friend so I don't want to rip him off.

I like you grabbing SS my only concern is that if you are making him too much better and you have to play him later in the year. Jones-Drew could become big and worthy of more in a trade if Fred Taylor goes down. I would much rather have SS than TO though. You might want to grab Benson off the WW for a fantasy playoff push if Chicago wraps up home field advantage early enough.

Close call, but I do it. TO is a loose cannon, and you don't need the other players. Smith and Harrison is just flat out a phenomenal WR corps. Barber is useless unless you had JJ. Make him throw in Witten.

I was thikning of Witten for insurance. What if Colston goes down? Nobody better than Witten will be on the WW.

thanks for mine- i agree that you should do the deal and that barber is worthless to you... better pickups it seems on waiver wire... the deal does benefit him more probably receiving shockey and TO, but it helps you enough it's still worth it

Jones Drew is more of a depth/backup RB, so if you can get a started for him, do it. I'd definitely take SS over TO. Bledsoe is sill a bit more comfortable with Terry Glenn. Note that TO is yet to have a 100 yeard game and only had 45 yeards last weekend with his 3 TDs. SS has a monster 185 yeards receiving and is showing no signs of slowing down.

I am starting colston as TE always so shockey is useless to me after this week. I have gore as my back up so I can loose drew-jones. I need help at QB but don't have roster spot to pick up leinhart. there are other RB available in WW. Norwood, Jacob, D. Williams (car RB), Benson,R. moats.

I'd do it. Smith is the real deal and is respected by his entire team. I recently acquired Smith and I will never let him go. This man is a beast of a WR. Can't say all that about T.O.. Get everything you can from him because he is getting a deal as well.

if he offers up barber I guess you can take him, but I dont think he'll do you much good.

 

if possible I'd try to see if you can get the deal without giving up jones drew and without getting Barber, but I suspect he wont budge on that part of the deal.

 

if he insists, I think you gotta take the deal as presented. You can afford to give up that kind of depth, but as someone else pointed out, I'd be concerned with how much better his team becomes as well.

Absolutely get Steve Smith and make sure Barber is included. I'd pick up Benson if you can and if you have an extra slot grab norwood.

pull the trigger! S Smith is going to be more consistent than TO IMO. With Colston, I think your good at TE too. This will upgrade your team.

Personally, I would not make the trade. Not even SS is worth TO and other more than serviceable players. I imagine that TO will have as many points as SS for the rest of the year.
