Big_Pete 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Bit Torrent usage is pretty safe. I've nerver heard of people getting busted. And even if they tried, they'd bust the big dogs, not the end user
BlackPlague 1 Posted October 21, 2006 I got 2 warning letters from my ISP saying that I was violating the user agreement. I had downloaded a couple HBO shows through bittorrent. HBO is tracking people that download their shows and reporting them to their ISPs...but there isn't much they can do except get a nasty letter written because the ISP doesn't want to lose the monthly $$$. The same EXACT thing. Pissed me off because I subscribe to HBO (dumb asss that I am) but I downloaded Lucky Louie to put on CDR and bring to work . I could of taped the freakin thing and brought it but who has a goddman VCR anymore???
Voltaire 5,315 Posted October 21, 2006 Not everything about the Chinese government sucks. I don't have to worry about copyright laws or other bullsh*t. I just watched all of Prison Break Season one and only have to decide if I want Lost, Alias, or (24 or 48? something-I forgot) next.
